This book initially pulled me in with its sexy cover art, and kept my interest immediately upon reading it. Cooper McKenzie often writes about older, damaged women, seeking their happily ever after, and this book is no different in that regard. Ms. McKenzie wrote in a fluid style that pulled you into the world she created.
Anna is trying to get by in life after a messy divorce. She’s tired and beginning to lose sight of the dreams she once had. Another problem is her raging libido can no longer be quenched by her sex toys.
I really liked Anna’s character. For a short story, she was well developed. From her inner dialogue to her anxiety over making the right decision when it comes to her sexy admirer, Anna was realistic and I couldn’t help but root for her. My only problem with the story was Anna’s too quick and problem-free acceptance of her lover’s true paranormal identity. The realism of the story was lost to me then.
Her Older Younger Man was an engaging, one sitting read about finding happiness after being through hell. An older woman who has almost given up on life can find a happily ever after in the arms of a young, hot stud. Definitely worth a read!

I think a lot of books in our genre are victims of the too-quick-to-accept-the supernatural phenomena. I think because it is a hump each story has to get over and generally that kind of internal dialogue is boring. But it is hilarious when it goes from "I think you are a monster" to "F* me you sexy monster!"in a paragraph!Fangs, Wands and Fairy Dust
