Stumbling across handsome druid Kyrian de’Tame in Dark Age England, she seduces him with the promise of power and immortality, confident she can control the feral wizard. As her mate’s power grows, so does his dominance. Each sultry encounter propels her closer to submission, forcing Allegra to spend centuries running from his enslavement.

LynnMarie’s Review

Owned by the Night is a short, paranormal romance. I can only sum it up as a dark, sensual love story. Scarlett Sanderson developed her characters to completion in such few pages.

Allegra is a strong, confident vampiress. She claims Kyrian as her own because she finds the druid worthy of being her life mate. He’s beyond desirable and the author makes the reader drool for Kyrian. When he develops into a strong, dominant druid vampire, she worries that he’ll try and control her. With a past riddled with painful memories, she fears reliving the same torment through her true love, so she runs. For centuries they live apart, only desiring to be reunited.

The sensual, erotic world of vampires, their victims, and the strength of love between mates is evident in Owned by the Night. Scarlett Sanderson takes us on a journey through one vampiress’ struggle with her own inner demons as she seeks her happily ever after. Very entertaining, well written, paranormal romance novella.
