Vampira, Book Two

Warrior Queen Megan Bloodrayne was betrayed by her two forced mates. Fleeing them, she hides within Vampira, a secret coven of vampires who live undetected among the humans.

Recaptured, Megan is horrified to learn she’s been framed for crimes she did not commit. Her mates, kings Christian and Zane, believe she may be a traitor and they’ll try anything to get the truth out of her. Megan’s got a secret and she’ll do anything to keep it, including enduring scorching sessions of red-hot sexual torture.

Reader Advisory: The heroes have a human female give their heroine some sexy loving in a short f/f scene.

Monica’s Review

Dark Heat by Jan Springer is written with so much passion and darkness. This is a paranormal vampire book that brings everything out in the open, dealing with sexual torment when a loved one has broken the rules. Springer writes very well on how the mate is subdued to bondage, passion and on the verge of coming but withdrawn immediately. The Queen Megan begs for more and more but her kings, Christian and Zane have to sexually torture her for terrorism they believe she has done in their kingdom. There is also a Seer that can be very mind controlling in making anyone believe that there are certain situations that have happened and that is where it all begins.

In charter four, Jan Springer expresses in writing what type of submitting Queen Megan needs to submit to in her sexual torment for her betrayal. Christian can be very seductive is his sexual torment and things that he does to Queen Megan leave her begging for more and more but sorry not going to happen. Christian cannot handle his own seductive sexual torment to Queen Megan, he wants to give in but he is in a mission to find out why their Queen would want to be a terrorist to their kingdom. He tortures her by being binding her by the ankles and her wrist but also with a rod holding her open by her knees. Springer did an amazing job in writing even more erotic scenes of Christian and Zane her Dark Hearts dominating their Queen Megan until they are able to break her and confess her betrayal so they think.

I highly recommend Dark Heat by Jan Springer to anyone who is into reading paranormal vampire books. This book was so hard to put it down, it showed dominance, passion, lies, deceit but at the end everything is brought together and the true villain is revealed. It is very well written because you believe everything that happens until the every end.
