A Killer lurks in Headley Cross…

…And Holly Carmichael is the only woman to survive his attack. Now she lives in fear, searching for normalcy and trying to put her life back together. When she meets Kyle Stevens, he turns her world upside-down. He’s as exasperating as he is appealing. How can Holly make sense of her awakening feelings when she’s so unsure of Kyle? His voice is familiar, he’s left-handed, and he wears the serial killer’s cologne. Who is he…really? As Holly struggles to restore her damaged faith, she must find the strength to trust once again—in Kyle and in God.

Kyle Stevens isn’t ready to live again. Racked by guilt, he’s afraid to feel. His sole focus is finding the Headley Cross serial killer—his girlfriend's murderer. That is, until he meets Holly Carmichael. He’s drawn to Holly, vows to protect her where he failed to protect his former love. But Holly makes him feel again, emotions quickly morphing into something much more dangerous to his hardened heart.

When the serial killer returns to finish what he started, only a miracle can save them…but then, it's the Season for Miracles.

Lena’s Review

God Why? That is a question Holly Carmichael asks herself every day since the incident. Why was she spared? Why did she get away when the others died? She doesn't know why, yet she is in constant fear because of it. Everywhere she goes she walks in fear always turning her back to find the person. Holly knows the game is not over and the man will come back for her. So it comes as a surprise that Kyle Stephens is in her life. Ever since the incident she has tried to stay away from men never knowing if they could be the killer. Yet with Kyle she doesn't feel fear, but instead, love for the first time in months. She knows he is in her life for a reason, but can she trust him with her life. Is he the sign God is sending her way for peace and love again in her life?

It's been months since Kyle Stephens has known peace and love. Months since he's asked God, why? Why is his Jane gone and he's still alive? Why had a beautiful woman like Holly escaped, only to wreak havoc to his life. He knows there is a reason but all he cares about right now is finding the killer before he attacks Holly again. For the first time he feels something, and it scares him, making him feel like he's cheating on Jane. Kyle knows Holly is afraid and will do everything he can to take away that fear from her. He knows Christmas is a time for miracles, and he hopes, with God's words and wisdom, Holly will come to know love and peace again in her life. Can he help Holly see that she is still loved and not to blame for what happened to her?

Christmas has always been known to have miracles happen but for Holly Carmichael it is more than a miracle happening. Months ago she lost her life and peace to a person wanting her dead. Now what I loved about this book was that even though something bad happened to Holly, she is courageous and trying to lead a normal life. Now Kyle is definitely a man who can help her in every way, but trust is the main key. This is the first I have read from Clare Revell and won't be the last, for this author definitely has talent and great imagination. Kyle and Holly came to life in this book with so much ease they hardly sounded fictional and so real. The pain and fear that Holly goes through is heartbreaking but I loved that with Kyle anything is possible. This is definitely a book worth reading for it has everything just right for the season: God and hope. Great job and I definitely would read more of her books to come.
