Troi and Amun—one dominant, the other submissive, both alpha—are possessed by the spirit of Lust. Its dark demands have tested their will every minute of every day for centuries. And they’ve committed deviant, selfish acts to satisfy its unrelenting carnal hunger. But the guilt doesn’t overwhelm them until they meet Oriel. She is their salvation, their peace. They need her. But they don’t deserve her.

Life’s lessons have taught Oriel not to trust anyone, especially gorgeous men who will use anyone for their own satisfaction. Granted, they’re sexy. Charming. Her body responds to their every look and touch. But she can’t—won’t—take a chance on them. Until she discovers she can run away, but she can’t escape the emotions they stir.

As darkness closes in, Troi and Amun’s lives and souls hang in the balance. The beast will consume them if Oriel can’t accept her own dark needs, and trust the two men who have summoned her most decadent desires.

Reader Advisory: This book contains same-gender sex, group sex, and various and sundry other deliciously wicked acts committed by two very naughty boys.

Monica's Review

Lust’s Temptation by Tawny Taylor is a powerful and passionate, dominant and submissive book that seems to be all about having their sexual hunger under control. Just imagine going through torture for centuries and never actually relieving yourself of sexual tension, until you find the one. That must be hard for anyone not to be satisfied.

After centuries, with the beast calling Troi and Amun to find the true one, Oriel, a feisty young woman, feels like the two men are stalking her. This is something that Oriel cannot understand—why does she feel so attracted to these two men? She cannot trust them because she has gone through her own life lessons. Especially after her friend relates a message about Troi and Amun to Oriel that she feels they only want to have their fun and move on to the next one. Oriel feels a connection to them even after she tries to move on with her life. Somehow she is always thinking about them and how her body feels around them. Can she fight her feelings for them and can she trust them?

Troi and Amun try to find a way to make her understand that they are meant to be with each other. If their beast is not controlled they can be in a whirlwind of trouble. Can they find a way for Oriel to feel safe with them and make her feel loved? She experiences a large amount of pain when she finally finds out a family secret about her life and the one person she holds dear to her heart, can she trust two men that let her know that they will never hurt her? Can she trust in anyone but herself?

I recommend Lust’s Temptation by Tawny Taylor for any reader that can look beyond the world of dom/sub and want to see if Troi and Amun can succeed in controlling their sexual hunger with Oriel or lose their soul forever.
