Blurb

Maddie’s coworkers have no idea that she gets off on calling random men, whispering raunchy fantasies in their ears and hearing them orgasm at the sound of her voice. Her fetish is fun, daring and most importantly, safe. That’s paramount for a transplanted Texan now living in New York.

Sex with strangers is risky. Phone sex is totally anonymous. Until Maddie calls a coworker by mistake. And when Adrian recognizes her voice, he turns her safe little fetish into a dangerous game. One that Maddie can’t possibly win.

Denise's Review

If you're looking for something to keep you warm on these cold winter nights, look no further than Lacey Savage's "Voices in the Dark." This short, sweet, and amazingly hot story is just what Kris Kringle ordered.

Maddie doesn't like the holidays. Her family is scattered and she typically resorts to purchasing gift cards online. While her sex life is active, she has no one in her life she'd want to spend Christmas with. Normal sex doesn't cut it for Maddie; she gets off by prank calling unsuspecting recipients, encouraging them to orgasm as she whispers nastily in the dark.

Only one night, close to Christmas, she calls the wrong person. Or so she thinks.

Admittedly, this sort of story doesn't really fall into my ideal HEA, but the characterization was blunt and honest, and the heat between Maddie and Adrian absolutely sizzled. Ms. Savage is a wickedly talented author, and I very much look forward to seeing what she has lined up next.
