How could anyone hurt a little black cuddly kitten that purrs and is ready to let you pet her and caress her? How about a sexy panther that needs maybe some taming. A vampire that is ready to please not only the kitten but the panther, too.

As the characters were introduced I adored Jack, an innocent man that was taken advantage of by different people during his lifetime. He was an amazingly sexy, gorgeous man that just wore his heart on his sleeve. After too much heartache he became bitter but somehow there was one woman that was able to break through his defenses and over power him. Jack was a very passionate man and knows how to please a woman and even have a little bit of fun with the sexy vampire. I was amazed that during his mission that he was able to learn about new supernatural powers he possessed and he felt pleasure in finding them with Shere the woman he was falling in love with. Jack and Shere make their own love story even if they are both not ready for one. They both have their walls built around them but sooner or later they realize that they are falling for each other and hard. There is no question that they are no longer about to be apart but nothing last forever.

Sure there were other characters in the story that were very interesting, vampires, sorcerers and other characters. They all had different parts in the storyline that brought it all together. Shere was one character that has a questionable future because she had some major thinking to do as soon as she realized she had fallen in love with Jack. She had her own problems that she needed to deal with not only her job but problems at home. From the moment that she set eyes on Jack she knew that she was in trouble. Not only that but then her partner strolls in and now she has a dilemma. Shere is a very confident woman and has no remorse in what she does for a living until now.

The storyline was amazing and get ready for the twist and turns of this story. The passionate scenes in this story are hot and steamy. Just the way that they reach for each other and the passion they show towards each other is amazing. No matter what paranormal characters you may be interested in this has a little bit of everything. You find yourself warming up to this story and enjoying it from beginning to end.
