Put a workaholic Yankee together with an amiable Southerner and watch the sparks fly! Annabelle travels to Charleston, where she stumbles across the trail of a long-buried Civil War mystery and along the way finds steamy passion, steadfast friends, mortal danger, and the love of her life.

Ashira Datya’s Review

There is a lot to enjoy about Carolina Heat, a story of essentially love at first sight.

Annabelle goes off to Charleston, South Carolina to search for her missing friend Vanessa and her boss' brother in law. At the airport, she runs into Mark, literally. He offers to share a taxi, and due to the lateness of the hour she arrived in Charleston, Annabelle agrees.

Throughout her stay in Charleston, Annabelle uncovers many different things that begin to explain why her friend and boss' brother in law disappeared. With the help of Mark and his friends, Ashby and Jillian, she comes to the bottom of the mystery; despite the danger they are all in as a result of the uncovered secret.

I give Carolina Heat three and a half Tea Cups and a heat rating of two. Carolina Heat was very well written and I enjoyed it very much. The sex is not too graphic, so it's suitable for all readers. I would read Carolina Heat again, and I would love to read another story featuring Mark, Annabelle, Ashby and Jillian.

3 1/2 Tea Cups!
