Fiona volunteers to help her recently widowed uncle get his house in order before starting her freshman year of college. Uncle Ed and aunt Carole are two of her favorite people in the world. While trying to help her grieving uncle, she doesn't expect her school girl crush to turn into a torrid affair, but it does. She doesn't expect him to want her at all, but he does, more than he can handle. And as her uncle struggles with the thoughts of wanting and having his niece in so many ways, Fiona struggles to show him that it's all okay. That she's not a little girl any more.

LynnMarie’s Review

Uncle Ed’s Lap crosses boundaries most of us choose to ignore. It explores the taboo subject of a sexual relationship between relatives. Fiona’s blood aunt has recently died, leaving her uncle a widower. Fiona is staying with him until she starts her first year of college. Since childhood, she’s had a school girl crush on her handsome uncle. Now he’s alone, and she’s a grown woman. Denying her feelings for him is getting hard with each passing day that they share the same house.

The sexual relationship is fuelled by powerful emotions. Fiona’s uncle is conflicted with flashes of guilt, shame, and a new lust for his favorite niece. Uncle Ed and Aunt Carole always spoiled her. Her fondest childhood memories consist of visiting them, playing in the rear yard, and straddling Uncle Ed’s lap. Times have changed.

Parker Ford has mastered the technique of writing sexual tension. It explodes off the pages. The reader can feel Fiona’s intense desire for her uncle. There is a mixture of undeniable attraction to the older man, guilt, and daddy issues. This is an emotionally charged read that explores a relationship that is more right than it is wrong. I found it beautiful and heart breaking.

The sex was fully described and scorching hot! We can feel Fiona’s need to please her uncle as both a lover, and a child dealing with an elder that she loves. Throughout this novella, both characters grow and realize that love can grow, change, and be something new and wonderful.

If you want to push the boundaries of your erotic reading experience, Uncle Ed’s Lap is an excellent place to start. Written in first person perspective, we get into Fiona’s thoughts, feelings and join her along this journey into forbidden attraction. This was a brave, and successfully delivered erotic romance by Parker Ford.
