Sarah is looking for a way to please a difficult boss. Alex is looking for a new life. In a moment of drunken madness, Alex puts his life up for sale on an online auction site. When Sarah’s work team places the winning bid, it might be the solution to all their problems… or just the start of a whole new set of difficulties.

Can the growing attraction between Sarah and Alex survive the strange situation in which they find themselves… not to mention pressure from scheming colleagues, jealous friends and reawakened ambitions which threaten to take them in unexpected directions?

Lena’s Review

Sara is getting frustrated at work. She has worked hard all her life, and now, just like that, everything is going downhill. It all involves a man name Miles, who will do anything he can to make her seem inadequate and ruin the company name. Just when she thinks life can’t get any worse, she risks it all on a man. Not just any man, but one who is putting his whole life on sale. She has no idea why a man like Alex would do that, but for some reason she feels compelled to save him. Sara has no idea what to do in life right now and doesn’t need a man to complicate things again. When trouble comes her away there is a silver lining in a man like Alex. Something about him is making her feel responsible for his life, but have no idea why. All she knows is that for the first time since taking the risk she feels alive and somewhat free. Can Alex be the key to all her problems?

Alex is tired of life and will do anything he can to change it. The problem is he doesn’t feel motivated at all. Yet going to a club to hear a band changed, not only his life, but himself as well. Meeting Sara for the first time was like a beacon of light coming through his darkness in life. Sara brings in the freshness of life that he hasn’t felt for quite sometime. He knows putting his life for sale was wrong, yet being with Sarah feels all right. Alex doesn’t know why Sara would want a person like him, but being near her is making him see her in a different light. At first she is standoffish, but Alex knows there’s a passionate woman beneath her business-like demeanor. Can he help Sara break free from her tedious life and live an adventure of passion with him?

Sara and Alex are two people who are searching for something, but have no idea what it is. I loved that Stephanie created these two characters that need, not only guidance in life, but love. Alex needs a good woman like Sara to help him, and Sara so needs a man to really love her. These two were great, and Stephanie did a great job in bringing them together by making them do what they love the most. Great job.
