Leah is just your average military scientist working on a top secret project until the most deliciously botanist makes her think some very non-scientific thoughts! They have to develop lust in a bottle, but when Leah looks at Jericho her lust is definitely not staying in the bottle.

An accident shows them just how well their lust in the bottle works and Leah discovers that Jericho looks just as good with his clothes off! But when the lust wears off what will be left? Could a guy like Jericho still want her without chemical lust?

LynnMarie’s Review

Leah and Jericho are working together to create a biological weapon that can make any man or woman lust crazy. After a mishap, one of their vials containing the chemical lust shatters when they are trapped together in an elevator. Their passion takes over, and the normally reserved Leah, engages in her wildest fantasies.

The characters, especially Leah, face a dilemma once the emergency chemical spill is controlled. Was what she shared with Jericho only a result of Potion #9, or was there more? They try their hand at dating once their heads are clear and focused to see where things may lead. Though I could feel Leah’s desire for Jericho, the instant love connection was not as believable.

The dialogue and narration had awkward moments, but there were also areas that flowed nicely. The odd overuse of exclamation marks pulled me out of the story more than once. Ashlynn Monroe is a new author, which is evident in her writing, but she also has proved to have great potential.

Chemical Lust is a cute, quick read that has an original plot and likeable characters. I expect great things from Ashlynn Monroe in the future!
