Anne Jenkins never believed there was a heaven or hell, so when she’s rescued from a runaway horse by a guy who claims he’s a demon, her freak detector goes off. She demands proof, and the leather-clad biker sets some local wildlife on fire. She starts to trust in a hurry.

Gregg Carter, bound to the Devil for all eternity because of an audit gone wrong, seizes the opportunity to take possession of Anne’s soul as a way to please his boss. What he didn’t count on was the fact that his libido would take the one-way bus to crazy town as he gets to know her better.

Trouble is, Anne and Gregg spend so much time trying to hide their true selves from each other, they can’t escape the attraction that builds between them. But everyone knows demons and humans don’t mix, and neither can two people who have no futures.

LynnMarie’s Review

Sandra Sookoo is a force to be reckoned with. She has created a novella that has it all: humor, romance, great dialogue, plot and addictive writing. The title perfectly fits this paranormal romance with punch.

Anne is an average, even boring, woman that is unemployed, living with her grandmother. She may have a fetish for hooker shoes, but that’s her little secret. Anne is saved from a near death experience when she cries out for help moments before plummeting off a cliff. Instead of an angel, she gets a demon, and he wants her soul as payment for services rendered.

The relationship between Anne and her sexy demon, Gregg (also an IRS agent), develops as he waits for her to use her three wishes. To soften the blow of having her soul tormented for eternity in hell, he offered the wishes to Anne. The sexual tension in the book grew steadily, along with the emotional connection of the hero and heroine. I grew to adore Gramma Dottie. She was a kick ass, quick witted character that added the perfect spice to the book.

You have to read this one! Really. The snappy dialogue, larger than life characters and engaging plot will pull you into the world created by Sandra Sookoo. I was almost in tears when the plot unfolded near the end to perfection.

Demons & Stilettos are a Girl’s Best Friend is a sweet, sexy and utterly entertaining paranormal romance filled with humor at every turn. Don’t miss out on this gem of a book.
