Rhys Sinclair is a Delta Force Operative on a mission in Afghanistan to save a group of American doctors being held prisoner by the leader of a terrorist group. He comes across Dr. Neveah Adams, huddled over the body of an injured co-worker, and after rescuing them is severely injured when his vehicle explodes, witnessed by Dr. Adams. Galvanized into action, she helps save him from the burning wreckage and all are air lifted to the hospital.
This book was a pleasant surprise. It is fast paced, laced with romance and steamy sex. The heroine is a real woman, tough yet all female and never a push over for her sexy, tall dark and mysterious hero. The action has you sitting on the edge of your seat, turning page after page because you dare not put it down until you find out what happens next.
If you like mysteries, thrillers and plenty of action with hot steamy sex thrown into the mix, this is the book for you.
