Blurb

Sacrificed to a family of vampires, Leona is rescued by handsome, powerful Narcisse Debray. In spite of her initial fear of blood drinkers, Leona is unable to control her attraction to the vampire lord. His lovemaking excites her beyond her wildest imaginings and he offers devotion such as she’s never known. Unfortunately, their happiness is tainted by the wickedness of a jealous enemy. Narcisse’s younger brother will stop at nothing to see the lovers destroyed.

Angelique’s Review

Sparkly vampires are not the only ones who get to fall in love. “Marriage in Moonlust” shows that friendship, lust, and happiness can spring from even the darkest of situations. Ms. Hill creates a unique fantasy world and characters that tug at the heart.

The characters in this story are realistic and elicit an emotional response from the reader. Leona is both a tough and frail heroine. She wants to go back to the people who gave her to the vampires because they are familiar. They are the “devil” she knows, so to speak. After her love for Narcisse grows, seeing her rub it in her family’s face gave me a moment of pride.

Narcisse struggles between what he wants and what is good for the people he is sworn to protect. His actions are consistent. Their relationship is balanced, each strong where the other is lacking.
The story has a bit of a Cinderella feel to it, but that is where the fairytale ends. The sex scenes are surprisingly hot and the action is fierce.

I really enjoyed this short read and would love to see Sabine’s story continue on.
