It’s been a year since her divorce and Lily Justice is ready to move on—but not with just any man. She’s got a certain drool-worthy body shop owner in mind. It’s almost convenient that her car needs some work. And when she meets Kyle Wolff up close and personal, her inner-slut has to have him, age difference be damned. With the car staying at the shop, Kyle graciously offers to give her a lift home.

While she accepts a ride on Kyle’s hot motorcycle, Lily’s inner-slut wants a hot ride on Kyle.
She’s about to get what she wants. And it will be the ride of her life…

Denise’s Review

Divorcee Lily Justice has long admired Kyle Wolff, a man ten years her junior. She hasn’t indulged since her husband left her for another woman, and feels it’s time to have a bit of fun. Lucky for her, Kyle Wolff has had his eye on her for quite some time, and he’s more than ready to give her exactly what she needs.

Ride of Her Life is a thrilling novella that embodies both the fear of moving on and the courage to do so. I really loved Lily, a woman who is ready to embrace life after divorce, especially after the pain of a callous, unfaithful husband, and goes after exactly what she wants. Based on the book’s summary, I expected Lily to be straightforward and perhaps slightly bitter, but what I received was a woman needing to feel comfortable in her own skin again and rediscover herself. Overall, I found it a perfect blend of fantasy and reality, and while Kyle at times seemed “too perfect,” I suppose that’s exactly what our heroine needed.

However, while I very much enjoyed this novella, I did find the dialogue in the sex scenes awkward and out of place with how smoothly it flowed elsewhere in the story. I also found the appearance of Lily’s suddenly-jealous ex-husband a bit formulaic. Other than that, it was a thrilling ride.
