Michael spent his adulthood taking care of his baby sister, pretty much putting his own desires on hold. Then Maddie fell in love and married, freeing Michael to have a life of his own.

He doesn’t think things can get any better. He’s a single, successful architect with his own firm, living and playing in downtown Houston. What more could he want out of life?

Just when he believes everything is perfect, Maddie shatters his illusions by revealing their family’s furry secret. Now his sister is growling and running around on four legs while trying to convince him he has an inner wolf of his own. And if that’s not bad enough, he’s falling in love with a woman who occasionally has more hair on her legs than he does.

So, what’s Michael’s response to all the changes in his life? He denies everything!

Wendy’s Review

Denying His Wolfen Heritage was wonderful. The story line kept you really interested in finding out more about the paranormal life style—making you wonder if there really is a wolfen heritage, and if there is, where is my Michael?

Michael’s guilt is misplaced by his sister’s accident, causing him to not have a life of his own. Even after she marries he wasn't ready to commit to any woman. Going to his sister’s place in Montana to give her a wedding present of house plans for her dream home, after their grandfather’s cabin burned down, was a blessing two fold. He was getting to see his sister and getting a well deserved break from his firm.

Michael’s dream break became a nightmare when he learned that his sister turned into a wolf and surprise, surprise he may also be able to turn into a wolf which he flatly refused to believe. He didn't believe his grandmother was a wolf. Denial is the best policy until he meets a woman who he couldn't keep his hands off of and he wanted to have sex with her every way possible.

Ariane, was a shapeshifter, but Michael didn't know that and she wasn't going to tell him until the right time arrived. She was a beautiful woman and she knew that Michael was her mate—she could smell it. She was willing to give everything she held dear to be with him.

Their love story has everything you could ever want. There is hot sex, mystery, treachery and, oh did I mention, HOT SEX! Michael can deny all he wants but in the end denying doesn't change who you are.

I give this book 5 Tea Cups and a steamy 3. A must read!
