The Thousand Islands Region is a vacationer’s paradise—a safe haven watched over by Detective Aidan Stone and his team. A spate of murders upsets the natural order and Aidan pulls out all the stops to put his jurisdiction to rights. Frustrated when all his leads turn into dead ends, Aidan enlists the help of Kate Stanhope, a psychic who has helped him in the past, and to whom he feels a growing attraction. Kate’s visions supply Aidan the much-needed new avenues of pursuit but they also resonate deeply within her, haunting echoes of earlier times. The investigation sends them hurtling down a path strewn with danger, deception, and intense personal discovery. Can Aidan put an end to the killings, and rescue the one woman he can trust with his heart? Can Kate overcome her troubled past and trust Aidan with her future?

Christy’s Review

Follow Your Heart is a story that brings Kate Stanhope and Aiden Stone together through a mutual friend. Aiden is a detective with the local police department, and Kate is a twenty something year old psychic. After the investigation Aiden is currently working on stalls, Aiden enlists the help of Kate and her psychic ability in hopes she can help with his investigation.

The plot was really good but at times the story dragged on a bit. During the course of the book the relationship between Aiden and Kate grows into something more personal. I found myself wanting these characters to come together as a couple, but found that it didn’t happen soon enough.

There are a lot of twists and turns with this story that makes the reader keep turning the page to find out what happens next. Some are a little confusing at times, but overall, I enjoyed Follow Your Heart and was happy with the outcome. I would recommend this story to those of you who love romantic suspense.
