Music journalist Kyra Martin faces the toughest assignment of her career—to write a cover story about enigmatic heartthrob David Tallis. Deadline looming, Kyra plans to go undercover. When she ends up under the covers with the sexy superstar instead, can both her career and their budding relationship survive?

With a closet full of skeletons to hide, and a paparazzi-fueled divorce behind him, David Tallis despises the press. When Kyra Martin bribes her way into his life, her sexy assets have him composing a duplicitous seduction. Ensnared in a media maelstrom of his own making, can David face the music? Or will he lose Kyra, along with another piece of himself?

Lena’s Review

Kyra Martin is a good journalist, but no one believes in her. She has been following David Tallis’ career for a while and the man is a mystery to her. Something about him is worth writing a story about, but how far can she go with him? For years she has tried to be a professional but something about David just excites her like no other man has done. Kyra has issues that still haunt her but must set them aside no matter who gets hurt. She never expected that her assignment would lead to something more. It is something she has forgotten about ever finding in her life. As a journalist she knows love exist but scum-like journalists are ruining her faith of ever finding love. Can she believe in David when her secret comes out?

David Tallis is a great singer who touches everyone’s heart with his deep sexy voice. Everyone wants an interview about him but he is a man who does not want to talk. David has secrets of his own that he wants no one to know. Yet one woman is determined to get her story and somehow she has gotten under his skin. He has known many women but none like Kyra Martin who like a bulldog gets what she wants no matter what the cost. Though what started out as game in his part leads to something he wasn’t looking for at all. Somehow with Kyra he feels alive something that he hasn’t felt for in a long time. Can he trust her with his long lost secret? Or is she just another report telling lies about him when she knows the real truth?

This is a first I have read from Tibby Armstrong and won’t be the last. I loved that Tibby could bring a man, so distraught and alone like David, to be alive with a woman like Kyra that completes him in every way. I loved that David is a man who just wants to be alone in life, yet he craves Kyra. These two were hot together but also their interludes out of bed were great as well. You can tell they have an instant attraction to each other but Tibby showed us much more about their love for one another. This is definitely a great book and highly enjoyed it. Can’t wait for more of Tibby’s books to come!
