Denise's Review

What happens when you bring a third person into the bedroom?

I’m still easing my way into the world of ménage and multiple partners—discovering and invading my own comfort zone—but thus far, the bulk of what I’ve read has pleasantly surprised me. This book, however, ranks currently at the top.

You have Brian and Kelly, who are deeply in love. The level of trust they hold for each other is thick and palpable. The story opens on a discussion over dinner about a secret fantasy both harbor—something they have discussed in the past, but never explored. Neither could have predicted their conversation would be overheard, particularly not by someone eager to experience the fantasy with them.

I think what I liked best about “No Fantasy Required” was the level of realism the author interjected. Kelly has always wanted a threesome, but experiences misgivings that have her questioning whether or not fantasy should meet reality. What if Brian liked their third bedmate better? What if she became overwrought with jealousy? What if he became overwrought with jealousy? Would this change their relationship for the worst? This attention to the sensitive nature of dividing affections between partners was, really, what made the book for me. And, of course, the sex scenes are hot as hot can get.

This is a spicy read with a lot of rich emotion. I very much recommend it.

Denise, I was thrilled to read your review! I'm so pleased you liked the story of Kelly and Brian.

It was very important to try and get across the realism you talk about and I'm glad you felt it. And the heat :)

Thank you!
Cristal
