Blurb

Tara's witchcraft has failed to save her naga-bitten nephew: the only cure is a rare Faery herb, impossible for a human to obtain.

Kane, a warrior of the Morrigan tribe, is bound to a baigh-duil. He needs a witch to help him send the soul-devouring monster back to its own realm, and he's willing to bargain.

It seems like a fair trade--the herb for help with a single spell. But what will Tara do when she realizes Kane can only perform sex magic and death magic?

LynnMarie’s Review

I fell in love with Madeleine Drake's first book, Blood Hero, so I was eager to review Faery's Bargain. It's difficult to review very short books because you can't get invested into the characters and world, like you can in a novella or full novel. This book has a complex world, plot, and terminology that would have benefitted from a longer length.

The writing flowed well. Ms. Drake introduces us to two unique characters, Tara and Kane. They both need something that the other has, and therefore come to a bargain to benefit each other. The bargain does involve…yes….sex. Soon after meeting our couple is thrust together for a wild romp because Kane's life depends on it.

For a quick, sexy read, Faery's Bargain was a fun escape. I certainly look forward to more from Madeleine Drake!
