Blurb

When a harried caretaker with no spare time hires a soulful builder who’s willing to take the time, he fixes more than she bargains for. Jilly is a New Orleans daycare aide by day and by night an errand-running caretaker to the three quirky aunts who raised her. What Jilly doesn’t have time for is a man who wants more than she can spare.

Zack is a brawny carpenter who works for his father’s construction company. He’s attracted to Jilly but wants the real deal when it appears all she has time for is a slam-bam-thank-you-man relationship. Will his patience and persistence gain him the time he needs to win her trust and her heart? Or will her aunts’ stop his clock with a voodoo hex?

Mary's Review

Jilly loves her aunts but lately they have become like mother hens to the point where she wants to run away. She knows by themselves it would lead to danger and probably their house on fire. So in a way Jilly loves them like they're her kids in a way. Her whole life is centered on them and now she is always in a hurry. Jilly is so much in a hurry that she almost misses the attraction of a guy just to get back to her aunts in time. She’s never met a man like Zack. Jilly needs help in renovation but never thought Zack would renovate more than the house and instead her heart. She knows it’s been a long time since she’s dated but can she handle a big man like Zack.

Zack loves renovating things but never thought he would make a career of it. Now that his dreams are almost here he can’t afford to be distracted. Yet he never expected for love to hit him in the gut like right now. Jilly is like a whirlwind of love entering his life never slowing for him to really know him. Just when he thinks he can make progress her aunts get in the way. Zack knows Jilly loves her aunts dearly but at this point he can’t wait no more. He wants Jilly in a way he never thought would happen again in his life. Can he risk his heart again for a chance with Jilly?

Family is important especially for Jilly something that Zack can’t handle right now. Jilly has always been with her aunts and loves them dearly. I loved that in a way they act like little children wanting Jilly’s attention but can be mature adults. Zack can be patient yet when it comes to Jilly he is tired. The chemistry between them is all there and the aunts make it funny the way they try to be together. Definitely a comedy of fun and passion is there but patience is the key in this romantic comedy. Great job.
