Blurb

Prequel to the Coyote Hunger series.

Forced to make the heartwrenching decision to leave Whispering Mountains, Rowan Wilder isn’t about to go without securing her bond with Quinn MacClellan. Neither expected their first time to be on the forest floor or while running to escape a madman but when it comes to claiming their mate, nothing can stop the hunger from burning out of control and consuming them both.

Publisher’s Note: This is not a standalone story; it has a cliffhanger ending. The next book in the series, Coyote Home, is needed to reach a satisfactory conclusion.

Rachel's Review

Hot passion, animalistic behavior and the danger of being hunted spurred them into a relationship that couldn’t be denied. Rowan and Quinn must flee a domineering ruler in order to save Rowan from a match that is less than desirable, but their long time friendship turns into more with the heat of the moment riding through their veins like a high to an adrenaline junkie.

This short read is sensual, erotic, and very well written. It is sure to leave you loving a hero that always finds time for a quick romp, and the woman that will lose her heart to a man destined to be her mate. The HEA is implied, but is not present in this story. I really enjoyed this shifter tale and look forward to more stories from Cahill.
