Film student Faith Holmes is on an Italian holiday bought and paid for -- a familial inducement to finding an Italian husband. She wants none of it. Boredom and curiosity make for a volatile mix and Faith is lured into the heart of the island of Forio's exclusive international film festival not as guest, but crasher.
Hollywood's premiere publicist Hunter Jameson has more than enough on his plate when his client, English film sensation Alex Winslow decides he's departing from the straight and narrow. One American party crasher should be the least of his worries. He has no idea that Alex’s growing feelings for Faith rival his own. The only thing for certain is his life will never be the same.
Lisa's Review
In Leap of Faith, London creates a unique love story. Faith Holmes is a Film Student forced to vacation on the beautiful and luxurious island of Forio in Italy. Her recently departed and much loved uncle Max had hoped that she would meet a handsome Italian and get married. Although Faith has no plans for marriage, she does attract the attention of more than one sexy man . When she crashes an international film festival to meet her teenage idol, she gets more than she bargained for.
Alex is the English actor she fantasized over in her youth. He is handsome, charming and a playboy. Hunter is his overworked Publicist that pushes her buttons from the very beginning. I really enjoyed the sparks between the two but, when you add the complication of Alex, well, that just made everything so much more interesting and funny. Who will she choose? Will her secret make it impossible to share her life with another? Or, will she take a ‘leap of faith’ on love?
I enjoyed Leap of Faith very much because it delves into the turbulent emotions of a courageous woman coping with the loss of a loved one while dealing with a life altering secret that will deeply affect her future and stun those close to her. The heroes in LOF are brave and sexy and will steal your heart.
I strongly recommend this book, you won’t be disappointed.
