Jewels of the Night Series

When a beautiful thief steals the French Blue diamond from security expert Nick Corelli's personal Pandora safe, his only lead is the sensual minx who was his dinner companion just hours before.

But no one is who they pretend to be, as Nick learns when he discovers a gut-wrenching betrayal and forms an unlikely alliance with a family of thieves. Following more twists and turns than an Italian country road, Nick risks his own reputation and family business in the name of love.

Or is it? Once her family is safe, will the elusive Clarisse decide to vanish with both the diamond and his heart, leaving him behind amid the ruins?

Monica's Review

Security expert and thief, could it really work…

This book is different. It is fast paced but delivers passion and excitement. The chemistry between Clarisse and Nick is felt immediately—they both feel a bond between them that can make their next mission go up in smoke. Even with the circumstances that they need to overcome this couple actually makes a great team.

Clarisse is a very intellectual woman that is willing to do anything for her family, even lie. She has the smarts to be a thief and is about to contemplate her plan immediately but can she truly trust a handsome man with maybe plans of his own. The only thing that she lacks is self confidence because she has always been the brains of the family.

Nick has been in security for some time taking over the business after his father. His character is dangerous, dark, but he is all man that has fallen for the wrong woman. How can their relationship work, their jobs are as the book says “oil and water.” I love his character because he has a way of expressing when he has been defeated and a woman knows more than him. Nick is also a kind, generous man when it comes to revealing his true feeling for Clarisse and nothing will get in his way, not even his job.

This book has adventure and romance all in one. I recommend this non-stop thrilling rescue mission. See for yourself if water and oil can actually come together.
