Serena is thirty years old and has never been loved or laid. She doesn’t expect to be loved, but she’s aching to lose her virginity. When her friend Cara takes her to Secrets, where guests have to wear a mask and costume, Serena gets courage. She flirts with a well-built pirate and follows him to one of the private rooms.

Dante, who is working undercover in Serena’s office, loves her. He talks to Cara and convinces her to bring Serena to Secrets without letting her know he’ll be there. Serena takes to his dominant touch and kinky desires, driving him wild, but he knows better than to sate her passion the first time. He has to tease her to keep her coming back for more.

Wendy's Review

This book is intense with a sexually frustrated woman of 30. All Serena wants for her birthday is to lose her virginity. Working in a cubicle all day doesn't give you a chance to meet anyone really, or so she thought.

Going to Secrets with her girlfriends for her birthday was the beginning of a night and life that she only dreamed of. Being a loner all her life moving from foster care to foster care she thought that she had lost her ability to feel anything long term with someone.

But meeting Dante, a Pirate, at the club who took her control away was what Serena craved. The spankings were an added treasure to Serena.

Dante had secrets of his own and he didn't or couldn't allow Serena to know of his real life. She discovers that their lives will be forever entangled in a world of sexual dominance and submission after Dante took her virginity.

Secrets is short and sweet and holds your attention from the first word to the last. Root for Serena to take a chance on life and let the past be that the past.
