Blurb

Fresh from his latest scandal, vampire playboy Dante Dellacourt has been given an ultimatum—take a consort and settle down or be disowned.
Exiled by her pack, the werewolf Kaja is stolen from her frozen plane and awakens in a foreign world. Frightened and alone, she savagely fights for her freedom.
When Dante and his Fae cousins are called to defend the gnomes of the marketplace from their feral prize, he discovers that Kaja glows like no other consort he has ever seen. Exotic and wild, her body calls to him in ways he had not dreamed possible.
In order to claim his werewolf, he must first tame this ferocious beauty. But to earn her submission, will Dante be forced to unleash his inner beast?

Monica's Review

“This is what I need, Kaja. I didn’t understand it before. I’m a warrior. I’m a beast, and this is my cause. Come with me. Fight with me. And this isn’t my home, Kaja. You are my home.” I hand no idea he could be so demanding, such a beast nothing like the Dante in Bound: A Faery Story.

I was ecstatic when I found out that Dante was going to have his own book. I loved him in Bound: A Faery Story; he was such a playboy, so funny, harmless especially when he was scared of a little kitty kat. Now in this book he actually has to seek a consort in order not to lose his way of life but never thought that he would fall in love believed he could still have his playboy way.

I could not believe how the story began with Dante, him starting in a Bachelor television show. It was the ending of the show where he is about to choose a finance but he had another plan. Yet in another scandal he finds himself in family drama and is threatened by his father, find a consort or else. He comes up with a plan to find the most inappropriate consort and please his family but regret what they did and sent her away. Then Dante can go back to his playboy way. His cousin’s were on their way to the marketplace to take care of an uncontrollable woman and he believes he found the perfect consort.

Kaja is a werewolf that has been outcasted by her pack. She was the only one in her family to survive after her family was killed when her father lost a fight to become the First. She does her best to find the door to go to another plane but the PlaneWalker takes her prisoner and takes her to the marketplace. When she awakens she finds herself in a cage and when Dante walks into the tent with his cousin she believes that Beck is the biggest threat. She makes the biggest mistake in that belief because Dante thoroughly dominates her and shows her who the master is.

The inner beast comes out of Dante when Kaja is around him and especially when she puts herself in danger. The true claws of the vampire come out and are ready to slay anything that stands between him and Kaja. He understands that he needs to bring out his dominate side, something he did not know he had but it feels good and this is a way to tame his werewolf. When his enemy strikes and he feels that Kaja is in pain he knows what he has to do and lets the Beast out to play.

Dante really took me by surprise with his dominate ways, some spanking, bondage and toy playing. Then when his beast would come out he just seemed like a true warrior keeping his Kaja safe. When Kaja was introduced at the beginning she seemed fragile, confused but she developed into a strong woman starting to see that she finally belonged. She understood that Dante did not want her forever but she was going to take as much as she could from him. The when he would least expect is she would flee.

I loved that I was able to read about the characters from the first book, which I loved. Then to read about another character from a totally different book is awesome, who would have thought to have Julian Lodge as a vampire in this book. Well, duh Sophie Oak of course.

Dante and Kaja belonged together from the moment that Dante had Kaja pinned down in the cage. They were hot together. This book could be read as a stand alone book but if you have not read the first book it will help to know where it all began. I can’t wait to see what Ms. Oak has in store for the next book in this series. This story is amazing, so pick up your copy today. All I have to say is keep it coming Ms. Oak because I will be there ready for anything that you dish out.

5 Tea Cups!
