Blurb

Book 3 in the Were Legends series.

Blanca Reble has been captured, yet again, to be used as some Vamp’s blood slave. Now she’s determined to escape her captor’s hold. But Worth isn’t who he seems and the way her body and mind react to his touch isn’t what she’s used to. It should be only a matter of time before their blood bond wears off, but what replaces it is an undeniable connection that Blanca’s never experienced.

Worth Sinclaire has never wanted a blood slave; he never had use for one. But when he sees the injured Were femme shackled in his cousin’s cellar, he purchases her for his own to protect her from a worse fate. Now he has to decide what’s more important—his loyalty to his own kind, or his growing love for a woman his people will never accept.

Monica's Review

Were Blood by Lia Slater is a remarkably passionate, sensual, tempting story that will captivate you from beginning to end. Blanca Reble never saw it coming being held captive once again in the hands of a vampire to be used as a blood slave. Even as a werewolf her strength to fight the vampires is not there after being used. Would her pack come to seek her, help her back to her home land? Worth Sinclaire, a vampire that is strange in a way, captivates Blanca. Is it only lust due to their blood bond or is it something else that eats at her pit of her stomach?

Worth is different and has strange feelings for this were that he is not able to explain himself but could it be love and has something been buried deep inside him for a long time? Lia Slater goes into great detail in writing the past life of Worth and what he has gone through since he became a vampire that makes you believe that maybe he can be different and he can have feelings for someone else besides a vampire.

Worth has his own issues but always puts his loved ones first before himself and now more than ever he will fight to defend what is his but will he be able to turn his back away from his own race go against what he is? Slater's writing of Blanca and Worth's passion for each other and how affectionate they are is just mind blowing. Can love fix everything even if they are enemies and she is on vampire territory? I highly recommend, Were Blood by Lia Slater.
