Blurb

Sarah Thompson knows what it's like to have a midlife crisis at twenty nine. She has spent the last several years running her own yoga studio and trying to survive being single in a small gossipy town. And if that were not enough, she decides it is the perfect time to go back to school. So you see, Sarah's world was already spinning when she learns that her hunky professor has teeth … as in Vampire teeth!

This undead hero, aka Charles Underwood, introduces her to a fantastic world filled with good and evil. It is a world where Sarah learns that she is a Watcher. Her birthmark foretells a prophecy that throws her into the middle of a magical conflict where battle lines have already been drawn. Does Sarah trust this new found hero or is she just a pawn in his plans to win the war?

Clare C's Review

This story got off to a rocking start! Sarah heads to a night class to find a sexy professor teaching it. Due to the blinding snowstorm outside, he offers her a ride home, only he turns out to be a vampire. Danger, a feisty heroine, and a sexy hero are drugs I cannot resist. As we get to know more about Professor Charles Underwood, we find out he’s not a bad guy, but there are plenty of them out there and they want Sarah’s emerging power.

Unfortunately, this momentum plays out pretty quickly. The plot and characters are brilliantly conceived, but the story was too rushed. If the entire thing had been written as well as the first few chapters, this would very easily be a 5 Tea Cup/Recommended Read book! Still, Ms. Burke is a rising star, someone to watch closely because she has the talent. All she needs is the patience to go with it. This was a really good story, and I’ll be looking for great things in the future.

3 Tea Cups!
