In Wicked Chains is a story full of heat, passion and trouble. I would have never thought that Elina and Kingston would have ended up together when they met in Book One of Wicked Series. Sure she fainted at his feet when she recognized a voice of her first true love. But I do have to say that their story is intoxicating and it leaves you wanting more.
This story drew me in from the very beginning and held me in until the last word. There were two different ways the plot could have gone but the one that Ms. Ashton choose was excellent. I really cannot say one specific thing that really made this story amazing because everything was done to make it satisfying.
Just imagine the man that makes your insides quiver with need going through woman like water then to walk into his office while he is being pleasured, that is where Elina had her breaking out. I felt so bad for her because after she confessed her feelings to Sasha, Kingston’s sister she really thought that she had lost her best friend. Only that Sasha was going to help in her to get Kingston to finally reveal his true feelings for her.
Kingston could not believe that Elina was at his office while being pleasured but there was something about her that had him fighting his feelings. He thought because of what his father was that he was tainted to admit his feelings to Elina. So when he has her for the very first time he knows it can’t be only for one night. So when Elina shows up at his club with another man he goes out of his mind. Only problem is that he has the bimbo that was pleasuring him when Elina walked into this office, so he should not be feeling so possessive. Only that he finds himself finding Elina and her date and threatens her date with a gun to leave her alone or he will shoot. When I read that I could not believe him how dare he after he also has a date, but from that moment they were inseparable.
So when a person from the past starts stalking Elina, Kingston vows to keep her safe. Only that person outsmarts Kingston and she is taken. Elina could not believe she is back in that cold place she was when she was living with her father. She starts blaming Kingston for her being captured and does not know how she feels about him and even thinks of breaking up with him. She will also receive a surprise secret that Sasha as been keeping from everyone but I don’t see how this will play in the future.
Oh I could not believe how this book ended; I can’t wait for the next book to come out. This is truly a suspenseful, emotionally charged story. I enjoyed In Wicked Chains and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a erotic suspenseful romance story.
