Christy’s Review

Just Bad Enough
Sherrilyn Kenyon and Dianna Love

Jeremy Sunn is just dreamy. He works for BAD (Bureau of American Defense) agency.
Along with working for BAD, Jeremy also owns his own gym. He’s gone from home a lot when he’s working his primary job but for the past three weeks he’s been recovering from a gun shot wound.

His next door neighbor is Cecilia (CeCe) Caprice. Right from the beginning sparks fly between these two but both are reluctant to start anything with each other. CeCe has several older step-brothers that are a bit overprotective. They tend to run off her love interests and Jeremy being the one night stand type of guy that he is has mixed feelings about CeCe. He’s not really sure where these feelings for wanting more are coming from but when these two finally come together, things sizzle between them.

This is the first story featuring the BAD agents that I have read. I loved it and I’m definitely going to read the first books in this series as soon as possible. The story is well written and the plot is quite good. The sexual scenes are also well written and not overly explicit in nature. The suspense elements kept me turning the page to find out what happened next.

Leave No Trace
Cindy Gerard

Although a short one, this story was excellent. The characters and the situations they faced were realistic and the plot was quite good. I love romantic suspense stories and this one didn’t disappoint. This story is loosely connected to Ms Gerard’s Black Ops Inc. series with the hero being David Cavanaugh, a dreamy CIA operative who’s good friends with the boys of Black Ops Inc.

Unstoppable
Laura Griffin

As with the first two stories book there’s a dreamy alpha male in this one. In this case it’s Lieutenant Gage Brewer. While having downtime from his last mission, he’s asked by his CO to watch over his niece Dr. Kelsey Quinn. Sparks fly immediately and the more these two are around each other the hotter it gets.

The plot was quite good and again this story was well written. I enjoyed learning all about Gage and Kelsey.

Overall, I really enjoyed all three stories of this book and would recommend it those who love a good romantic suspense. Things are face paced due the length of each of them but they are very well written and I have picked up three new authors that I haven’t read before. I will definitely be reading more of Ms Kenyon’s, Ms Love’s and Ms Griffin’s books.
