At The End Zone - Book II
College professor Ian Ross is in love with Andi Nelson. Waitress Gina Francisco has carried a torch for Mike Kelly forever. When Mike and Andi get married, Ian and Gina find one night of champagne lubricated comfort in each others' arms. The two are from totally different worlds. Can they find their way into love with each other?
Clare's Review
Gina and Ian meet at the wedding of people they both had hopes of marrying, they spend the evening and rest of the night drinking champagne and consoling each other. When Ian is offered a chance to go for the chair of the French department, he sees Gina as the way in and asks her to pretend to be his fiancée. At first glance they have nothing in common - he's a professor at the university, she's a waitress. All they have is the one night of drunken passion. Ian wants the chair. Gina wants to be loved. Can they both get what they want?
This novel by Doreen Alsen is a delightful read that I found hard to put down. There were a couple of loose ends I would like to have seen tied up, but that doesn’t detract from the book at all. Full of funny and heart warming moments, just when things start to go well...bam along comes another obstacle to stop them getting what they want.

I think you put up the wrong blurb with "What Ian Wants". But great review!
