This is the first time that I have ever read a book where the woman was in complete control and wanted to be the dominant. But Jenna made this book with enough finess that you realized that every woman may have a certain amount of dominance in them and want to show it. But a true submissive is the one who is actually in control and a man as strong as Luke O’Connor can control a woman of dominance like Jessa Brody.

Jessa had control over everything in her life—her singing career and the way she lives her life. Luke had wanted Jessa, they grew up together and so he knew what she needed and control was it. But for five years they denied each other but being a dominate person you know when to make the move.

Luke had limits that he wasn’t aware of until the torturous sexual affair started and then to back track would mean he was weak and he couldn’t allow that but being a true submissive you have to learn that honesty is the best policy so as Jessa and Luke discover their relationship it was a true awakening of feelings left under a silent veil for five years.

Jenna Howard brought a book that gave the reader a story of true love in dominance and submission and gives the reader an input in the lives of a lifestyle that gives you chills to try,  and experimenting is within the reach of everyone. Reading Spurred On is my first but certainly not my last experience where the woman is dominant. Spurred On is a great book to read if you want a dominant cowgirl/singer meets a submissive cowboy book.
