Blurb

Headstrong and beautiful, Yvonne LaBlanc hits Mason City like a cloud of French perfume that encircles and enslaves every man in the valley. Cowboy David Young and Sheriff Bass Connell become her captives even as she succumbs to their charms and love--making her their willing wanton.

Life changes when a beautiful stallion she calls White Wind enchants her like no man ever has. But events darken with the arrival of the cloud of deaths, murders of women across the plains, and finally one man determined to kill the stallion and end the life of the one woman whom he has hated and obsessed over with a will to die in order to possess and destroy the dark beauty.

Wendy's Review

This book was confusing to me and I had a hard time keeping track of the story line but that I contribute to not reading the series.

Yvonne LaBlanc traveled to the west to live with a father that she didn’t know, and his wife. Her grandmother had died and she wanted a fresh start. What she didn’t expect was to be in a middle of two men in a ménage relationship. She was beautiful and smart, couldn’t resist Cowboy David Young and Sheriff Bass Connell or any man.

There was mystery, sexual encounters and a lot of flirting in this book. Keeping track of it all kept you on your toes so that you can know what happens between Yvonne, David and Bass.

The love scenes were great and Beverly did a great job keeping your interest during these scenes.

Like I said I will have to go and read the series and then I am sure that I will clear up the confusion. Beverley Sims books are worth reading so I am looking forward to reading the first three in the The Witness Tree.
