Recently divorced from her high school sweetheart, Chelsea Goebel begrudgingly accompanies her best friend on a work trip to Savage Valley, Colorado. A strange encounter with a mountain lion in the wild leads her to meet Oliver Cash, mayor of Savage Valley, and his brother Roarke.

Mountain lion-shifters Oliver and Roarke instantly know Chelsea is their mate, and they want her as soon as possible. But Chelsea convinces herself she wants only a rebound fling with the sexy shifters, and the brothers set out to prove they want more.

But a darkness looms over Savage Valley. The conglomerate NormCorp wants to buy up Savage Valley, and a drought and strange animal attacks have the townspeople anxious. Oliver and Roarke need to mate Chelsea to strengthen themselves for a fight. It’s up to Chelsea to get over her past, accept her lion-shifting mates, and help Oliver and Roarke save Savage Valley.

Monica's Review

Two mountain lions, one woman will they be able to keep their lion at a distance until they can mate her together and the biggest question will she agree?

Oliver and Roarke are mountain lions that have fallen for a beauty by the name of Chelsea. From the moment that Chelsea found herself being stalked by a mountain lion in the woods she felt a pull to him. His eyes leave her mesmerized. Then her savior comes in and helps and she feels the same connection. The musk scent that they radiate from their body is so intense that Chelsea feels overwhelmed with arousal. From that moment they knew they found their mate and it was time to plan their seduction.

Chelsea just needed to get away from her current state of mind and enjoy her trip with a friend. After her divorce she never thought to seek a relationship with anyone especially two sexy men but nothing will stop her from maybe a little sexual pleasure.

Oliver and Roarke are good men that have been taking care of Savage Valley and their pride from a corporation that wants to buy the land. It is interesting how the reader learns how Savage Valley became and how the pride was formed. The history of the town makes you appreciate the story even more. Then the reader learns of when the mountain lion turns 30 years of age they are ready to become alpha but that’s not the only interesting part. Sorry, you will have to read the book to see what other very important rituals they have especially when it comes to mating.

I think the story could have been a bit longer especially in the forming of their relationship. This is a relationship for life and everything happened in six days. I’m happy that Chelsea actually healed from her divorce fairly quickly. You can’t help but admire the way Oliver and Roarke pleasure Chelsea but not only that they know how to protect her as well.

It was still a very good story and I can’t wait to read the about the other shape shifters that live in Savage Valley. I hope you join me in reading this new series The Pride of Savage Valley, Colorado and see what is made of Savage Valley and the pride.
