Hunter’s Review

I have enjoyed reading the Children of the Sea series by Virginia Kantra so much. I have to admit, however, that by far this book—Immortal Sea—is the best one in the series so far. This was the first book to not have to do with Caleb, Dylan, or Lucy—the central family in the previous books.

Instead, the hero is Morgan of the Finfolk, a tough, cold warrior who has no time to trifle in human affairs. Except one. And out of that encounter, a baby is born. This story is about Liz—the mother of that baby—and Morgan finding each other again fifteen years later on the island of World’s End.

Ms. Kantra is an extremely talented writer and I enjoyed every second of this book. Morgan is a true Alpha hero, he doesn’t need anything—until he absolutely needs and loves Liz and her children. Some of the previous couples make an appearance in this book without overwhelming it.

I think you will love Liz and Morgan. I think you will love this book.

Hunter’s Review

This book is alternatively fantastic and hard to read. To say that Ms. Banks pulled out all the emotional stops would be an understatement. I literally wept from page to page as I read this story.

Ethan is a strong Alpha male who has been mourning his wife for the past year since her death on an aid mission in South America. Compounding his grief? He did something truly terrible before she left—something he was prepared to beg her to forgive him for when she returned. Only she never did.

Surrounding Ethan is a strong cast of characters—his parents and his five brothers—plus two ‘strays’ his huge hearted mother picked up over the years who are also honorary members of the Kelly family.

Rachel, it turns out, is not dead but has been held in horrifying conditions for the last year. A prisoner, she has been forced to become addicted to drugs and abused in the most terrifying ways. As a woman, I found Rachel’s struggles to be very telling. I don’t think there is a female reader out there who won’t feel her pain and have a few moments of horror to think of themselves in the same situation.

Ethan and Rachel are powerful characters who I fell in love with. I’m putting this down as a recommended read but, truly, I think this is one of the top ten best romances novels I’ve ever read.

Where to begin? I loved this book. As with all the books in the Wild Riders series it was a very good read.
Teresa and AJ grew up together and were childhood sweethearts. On her 18th birthday, AJ leaves town because he's on the road to being a criminal and doesn't want to mess up Teresa's life.

Fast forward several years, AJ and Pax are undercover operatives for a government agency call the Wild Riders. All members ride Harleys and are bad boys on the good side of the law. While on vacation, AJ and Pax, make a stop in the town where AJ grew up. Imagine AJ’s surprise when he and Pax visit the local biker bar and see Teresa behind the bar.

After a fight erupts in the bar that leaves one man dead, and Teresa’s brother accused of the murder, Teresa, AJ and Pax find themselves on the road to clear her brother of murder.

The chemistry between Teresa, AJ and Pax sizzles from the beginning and she finds herself attracted to both men however Teresa’s hiding a secret from her past and is reluctant of starting anything with the two.

Riding The Night is a fast paced book. The plot is excellent, the characters are realistic and I couldn’t put it down. I found myself turning page after page to find out what happened next with the trio although I did figure some of it out before getting the confirmation towards the end of the book.

If you’re looking for a good romantic suspense to read, one that features bad boys, a great plot and hot and sizzling romance, then Riding The Night is for you. Be sure to check out the other books in the Wild Riders series.
