Ewan Collins has been in love with Natalie for years now, even though she rejects him at every turn. When Natalie visits for a week, Ewan takes it upon himself to try and lead Natalie to a normal, loving life. He gives himself seven days to win Natalie over.

But, unknown to Ewan, he has an uphill battle because Natalie has faced serious tragedy in her past that she is very unwilling to let go of. Can Ewan make Natalie come out of her tragic shell in seven days or will she move back west?

Friday I’m In Love by Mari Carr follows the path of Ewan Collins as he tries to win the heart of Natalie. Ewan does not know about Natalie’s past though. This novel would appeal to anyone who loves romantic suspense.

I loved the main characters, Ewan and Natalie because they were well rounded and easily believable. The fact that Ewan loves Natalie enough to try and win her heart is brilliant. There were times when I was laughing, giggling, crying, and/or all three at the same time. This novel really touched my heart! There is a small, hidden theme to this story and I believe it is that do not stop living your life, create as many memories as you can.

I very much enjoyed this book and I will always remember this one because I was swept up in all the emotions. I would HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who wants to know how to live again. I give this a heat level of 4 with a 5 Tea Cup rating!!

Victoria Denton has been a con-artist all of her life along with her brother Rod. She feels that she can get away with anything until a mark from her past deals her a bad blow. Then a murder happens and her life as she knows it is turned upside-down. During all of this a man comes into her life and she has to ask herself “Am I in love?” What happens next?

I thought I knew what to expect from this novel. I was wrong. This has to be THE BEST romantic/suspenseful/mystery novel that I have read to date. The love scenes were perfectly timed with the plot, the suspense kept me turning the pages, and the mystery was superbly developed. Once I started reading it, I could not stop. My favorite character from this novel would have to be Victoria. The way her character changes from the beginning of the story to the end is just wonderful. The settings where each storyline takes place were terrific! This story makes me want to move to Miami. I would very highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for something to read now.

I do not want to say too much and give some of the plot away but what I can say is that Victoria Dent has a few character flaws and so does her brother. Can she get past her own flaws and that of her brother’s? Hmmmm. Just when you think you know the answer to the mystery, in comes some more suspects leaving you on the edge of your seat and keeping the pages turning. The heat level is at a 3 and I give this 5 Teacups! Buy this book today!!

Thalia does not want to become Queen. She would rather the queenship go to her twin sister, Jessica. So she calls in the help of the three Fates to help guide her to her “heart’s desire”. She and her sister Jessica race to see who can find their true love first. Thus her adventure begins….

This short story has more erotic scenes than plot, but I did enjoy the ending. I would recommend this short story to anyone who needs to read something quickly on a weekend night and/or to someone who just got done reading a longer novel. I would give this story a 4 on the heat meter but only 2 Tea Cups.

Tyler Jackson has many skeletons in his closet. They were put there 25 years ago during the summer of ’85 when one of his closest friends died. Now he is using the excuse of a reunion to go back home and try to get rid of those skeletons, once and for all.

This story is a short one. There are no love scenes so the heat meter for this story is a 1 at best. Unfortunately, there were no emotions to this story. Normally when I read a romance novel, I can feel the character’s emotions. But I could not feel the pain that Tye was supposedly going through. This story was almost told matter-of-factly. I was hoping to shed some tears while reading this, but I never did. In conclusion, I am giving this short story 1 Tea Cup because there needed to be more emotional description.

On a positive note, I could easily predict that Tye and Kelly would end up together, which they did, so this story does have a happy ending.

Tristan Williamson, a 400-year-old vampire, is looking for a way to become human again. Someone informed him that a girl’s blood might be the cure to turn him human again. But when he went to drink her blood, he found that he could not do it, so he befriended her. He also made a promise with a bartender, who is his closest friend that he would not drink (or kill) out of need for food. He never said he could not kill out of vengeance though. His promise is tested to the limits many times.

When Anna Carlson was just a girl, she fell in love with Tristan. But Tristan left her and her bitterness grew over the years that he was gone. Now, years later, once she became a beautiful woman, she is going to help Tristan find the cure that he has been looking for, only to fall in love with him again and doom herself to a fate that could ruin her forever.

As I started reading this wonderful novel, I was reminded of the vampire hero of Buffy, The Vampire Slayer: Angel (evil name Angelicus) and Spike. They both had a problem with drinking the blood of humans: Angel because he got his soul back and Spike because of a chip that was planted in his skull. This is a good thing because it helped me relate to the story.

There were so many beautiful twists and turns with this story. Every time I thought that I had the story figured out, there was another twist or turn. I was hooked from the very first paragraph. There is so much that I want to say, but I might be spoiling the best parts of this book if I did. I could not put this book down until the last word.

There are a few sex scenes but I have read these genres of books before and this one was not really that hot. But the love scenes worked pretty well with the plot. I have read many vampire novels, so I thought I knew what to expect, but Angela changed my mind. Her writing is exquisite; she describes in beautiful detail every scene. I give this wonderful story 5 Tea Cups and a heat rating of 2. I would recommend this book to all of my friends and family who enjoy reading paranormal romance. Great job, Angela!
