Locked in a demonic curse, Carmella Ramirez has lost the will to love. Once she was the star of the Ramirez Samba School and lived a charmed life. As the corpses pile up, those controlling Carmella plan to sacrifice her to their demonic god and blame her for all the men the succubus killed.

Her only hope is Sean Kalmus--a world famous musician and warrior of the Celtic God of Music, Maponus. Sean is in Brazil to DJ for the Ramirez School at this year's carnival. Maponus orders Sean to find and rescue Carmella, who is Sean's Comhcheol--the perfect harmony to his soul's melody.
With Sean's help, Carmella will have to call on her strength, his magic and their love to break herself free before she becomes known as Brazil's most notorious serial killer.

Stacey's Review

Everytime I read one of Ann Mayburn’s books I am inspired, transported and completely enthralled. Her books are filled with knowledge, passion and an imagination I have never seen elsewhere. At the end of every book, I feel as though I was there. Dance Of The Gods may be a novella, but it definitely doesn’t fall short by any means.

Carmella is a young woman who could have allowed her losses in life change her. But she didn’t. She has taken each and every bad card she has been dealt and still remains strong. She is a heroine everyone can love. I myself, felt the need to protect this young woman. However, when she is backed against the wall, she proves how powerful believing in yourself can truly be.

She has no idea she has been possessed by a succubus. Carmella has been luring married men to their deaths and she doesn’t remember a thing. She is a sexy demon by night and a mousey seamstress for her father’s Samba School by day. When an attractive young man starts to bring out the real Carmella, she will face her demon head on and only her God will be able to save her. But has she already given in to the dark side? Her burning desire to be loved will be the deciding factor.

Set in Rio, how could it be anything except HOT? Filled with gods, adventure and passionate characters. From a dingy BDSM club to high dollar hotel rooms, you will enjoy every step of this sensual Dance Of The Gods.

At the end of his obligated commitment to the Space Service, Frey Berger decides to stay on Earth to further experience human emotions rather than return to Ginnun where his intended has already mated with another. Looking for real love and someone to accept him for what he is, Frey enlists in Madame Evangeline’s popular dating service. Although he does not understand the concept of a one-night stand, he hopes to find his perfect mate. If he fails, he risks being alone on Earth for the rest of his life.

Carrie Cooper’s husband divorced her for another woman who could provide him with children, leaving her with little self-confidence and no desire to let a man hurt her again. When her best friend convinces her to join a dating service, Carrie decides one night of passion is harmless since there’s no commitment after the night is over.

Although several misunderstandings nearly derail them before the date even begins, Frey and Carrie end up closer than they ever believed possible. Still, Frey needs to convince Carrie her perfect mate isn’t human at all, and that one night can lead to a forever love.

Lorien's Review

Frey refuses to return to his planet in Ginnun. After his intended mate left him for his best friend, he wants to find an Earth woman and experience an emotional relationship where it’s not allowed on his planet. Carrie has been through so much after her divorce. With an open-mind and heart, she decides to take the chance on a one-night stand.

Celestial Seduction is a great sci-fi romance story. An enjoyable read that holds an interesting plot with two likeable characters. With the help of Madame Eve’s 1NightStand dating service, Frey and Carrie are able to have a second chance at love. When the two meet, sparks fly. An instant connection between the two ill-fated characters ignites and continues to grow. If you’re a fan of romance and science fiction, don’t miss out on this wonderful story.

When magic fails, sometimes trust and a second chance are all you need.

Magical things are happening once again in the tiny town of Crystal Falls, Indiana. But this time, the source of that magic is in trouble. May (Malaya) Wiggins, the owner of a boarding house, has been called to task by a member of the magical enforcement league. It seems May has been practicing magic and nurturing the special spark in others without a license.

Enter Tavian Brightmore the good-looking, play-by-the-rules magical enforcement officer sent to drain May’s energy. He’s also her former lover and the man who betrayed her ten years ago.

As Mrs. Wiggin’s May Day celebration nears, she and Tavian must learn to interact with each other, regardless of the attraction and anger that sizzle between them, magical and otherwise, before the power-hungry dean of the institute of magical instruction kills them both.

Dodie's Review

We need a new aphorism. You know like absolute power corrupts, absolutely; which is also appropriate for this story. Something like – lack of trust kills a relationship – but that's not quite pithy and catchy enough for an aphorism.

May and Tavian were on track to their own H.E.A. ten years ago, but then something happened, and May believes that Tavian betrayed her. May ran to Crystal Falls. Tavian pursued her. Their lack of faith in each other – their lack of trust in each other – ruined their relationship before and is well on its way to ruining their relationship this time around. May and Tavian are great characters. Their previous relationship makes the heat between them more believable and palpable – right from the beginning of the story.

While this is the fourth story in the series, I never felt like I didn't understand what was going on. Previous stories were alluded to, and some of the characters made a brief reappearance, but I had a firm grasp of the characters and the framework of the series right from the beginning.

I enjoyed my time in Crystal Falls – brief as it was. I hope that Tavian and May's H.E.A. and trust in each other, bring them lots of happiness in the future, and I hope that we get to see glimpses of their lives, and perhaps a bit more resolution to their story in future installments of the series.

ough toTime matters very little when you're dead. I discovered this intriguing fact after being tortured and stabbed to a tree in the strange land of Meric, a place where I discovered my unbelievable powers and experienced an adventure far more amazing than I could have ever imagined.

Now that I'm dead, I find myself stuck in my past, 1991 to be exact… or am I actually dead? Perhaps my adventure to Meric had just been a dream. My unbelievable destiny, all of the friends I made, and even Shaw, the man I fell in love with… just a dream? bridge that gap and get their intimacy back on track?

Clare's Review

Resurrection takes up the story from where Conception leaves off. Christina is dead and the forces of evil are amassing in Meric. Or is she dead? Stuck in her past she’s unsure what’s the dream and what is reality.

Just as gripping as book one, the second book in this series pulls you into its pages and sets you off on a rollercoaster or a ride. Full of vivid landscapes, battles, and loves lost, it has enough twists and shocks to leave you breathless and wanting more.

The fairies are going extinct. The trolls are trying to take the land for their own nefarious purposes and King Carrick, ruler of the fairy kingdom, has found a human mate. Now he just has to convince her to stay amidst the chaos.

Brook finds herself in love with a fairy, as if that isn’t strange enough, she’s kidnapped by the trolls and asked to be queen of this fantasy kingdom. Her heart screams approval but a man named Valen and some deadly trolls stand between them.

Lia's Review

A sizzling hot read from start to finish! Fairy Flavor stars off with Brook, the heroine, having amazing sex with a mysterious man. She’s certain it’s all a dream that soon she’ll wake from but soon learns of the reality. Fairies exist and they need her help. King Carrick needs Brook to reproduce as the fairy race is dying.
I loved Brook. She was a very strong, modern, and independent woman. The little glimmer of her past made me enjoy her ever more. She had some factors that made her very relatable.

Carrick was sweet, always horny, and kind. I enjoyed him, although at times he came off as a little too soft. There were a lot of other fairy men like Whisper, who I really enjoyed. I would love to read a book with him as the lead.

The introduction of Valen brought a great twist to the story. Valen was likable and hatable at the same time. On the one hand, he was very heroic, brave, and loving. Yet, there were some things he did that made him seem almost abusive. I loved the scene with him and Grace or was it Bridget, near the end. It really made me want to learn more about him.

It did become confusing reading about all those fairies. Some of them had similar names so it was hard to remember who is who.

I really enjoyed the entire book and all of the characters. The fairy kingdom was very original. I haven’t read anything like this before. I would read future works by this author.

If you want a sexy erotic read with a plot, this is a winner!

The only full-blooded human member of the winged population on Icarus, Laramee Faulkner has longed to be accepted as one of the tribe. Since childhood, Jaran, the adopted son of the Icarian leaders, has never let Lara forget that she’s different. As a boy, he teased and taunted her. As a man, he has the power to give her everything she’s always desired, or tear her away from the world she loves.

When Jaran chooses Lara as his mate, she’s certain his plan is only to humiliate her, but his passionate kisses and sensual commands ignite her long-suppressed desires. Will she be able to resist the erotic temptation and make him pay for all the years he tormented her, or will she give in and claim her birthright as a member of the Icarian race even if it means giving herself to the man who made her feel like an outcast?

Hunter's Review

The story is unique and interesting. I felt for these characters. Having loved the first book, I was so happy to see the next generation of the story to see what happens next. All I can say is Bravo for this book and I can’t wait to read more from her.

Megan Starke has never been special to anyone. With an unrewarding job and a failed marriage, no one would confuse her life with a fairy tale. So when she is kidnapped and taken to a magical world to be the grand prize in a fierce and bloody tournament, she isn’t sure if she is in a dream or a nightmare.

Beckett Finn was supposed to be Prince Charming. He and his brother, Cian, were to inherit the throne of the Seelie Fae and rule over a fantasy kingdom. But the thrust of a traitor’s blade stole that future. Now the brothers are fading, cursed by their royal blood unless they find a mate who can restore them. When Beck sees Meg, her body calls to him and he knows she is the key to their salvation.

Bound by passion and fate, it’s time for Meg to find her happily ever after.

Monica's Review

Sophie Oak is an amazing author/writer. When reading the synopsis for this book I just had to read it. Imagine three different worlds, earth plane, vampire plane and faery plane. A human is abducted and taken to faery plane to be sold to whom ever survived a fierce fight. This story is full of adventure, passion and is somewhat humorous in its own way.

Megan does some dumb moves after she is in journey to her new home with her husband Beckett. She needs to realize that she is not on earth and the forest is full of paranormal creatures that may ruin her journey. Megan is going to learn the hard way but a little to late when she realizes that she does not want to go back home.

Beckett is a warrior that has a terrible temper and I despised him in the beginning of the story. He treated Megan so trashy that it made me sick. After reading more of his story it brought me to adore him and realize that he could be a wonderful husband. Beckett denies that he is a dominant lover that enjoys rough sex but since he was younger his father told him that that is not a way to treat a lady. So he represses his sexual hunger but Megan changes everything.

From the moment that Cain was introduced into the story he just entered my heart. He is everything that Beckett is not. He is caring, loving, in touch with his feelings and has no problem expressing them. When Beckett leaves him alone with Megan it is their time to bond and become one. Once Cain is rehabilitated back to his senses he tries to woo her and finally make love to her.

I fell in love with the characters in this story especially with a little vampire named “Dante.” Dante is an awesome vampire that is full of spunk. He makes this story humorous when he comes near Megan and teases her in front of Beckett. It seems that he might have a death wish. Dante is full of life and a real charmer but he cannot come close in charming his way into Megan because no matter what she has fallen for Beckett even if she does not know it.

I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to anyone that enjoys reading fantasy books. Read and see how Megan realizes that she no longer belongs back on earth but belongs with her husbands in the faery plane. See how she is able to save her husbands from an evil woman that seems to believe she has the right to kill the kings.

When seven virgins are brought to a unique island resort to be propositioned by a gorgeous angel who wants to have a child, hotel employee Kazia is mortified to learn she is one of the potentials in his mating game--and that her job depends on cooperating with the VIP's whims.

Archangel Andel hopes to create an immortal child before his fertility phase ends. He has some thoughts about his em-sehad--his ideal mate--but he harbors a secret that he cannot risk revealing to the woman he ultimately selects.

When Kazia finds herself lured in by Andel’s potent eroticism, secrets of her own are revealed that could keep him from claiming her. Meanwhile, supernatural powers are conspiring to prevent Andel from perpetuating his blood line. How will Andel and Kazia overcome their pasts--and the will of heaven--in order to consummate their passion?

Yadkny's Review

A once in an angel lifetime opportunity has been granted to Andel and he isn’t taking any risks in finding a match. Because of the delicate nature of the situation, he’s decided that the Amante Del Mar is the best place for this to occur. With one final test, he will have selected his mate, but doesn’t expect a heavenly interference and time is running out.

Kazia’s life has dramatically improved since her employment began with the Amante Del Mar. She took a chance and it has netted her results in the form of a promotion, security, and stability. This latest assignment has her rethinking everything she has gained when the truth is revealed. The most troubling of all is how she can’t seem to stop her body’s reaction to Andel, but his purpose for being at the resort is something she just can’t throw caution to the wind for.

The third installment to the Immortal Paradise series is my favorite so far. The mystery surrounding these immortals is addicting and each unique story will pull the reader further in. The sexual encounters in this story are sizzling and the imagery is fantastic. Kazia’s character is relatable and Andel is pure Alpha male goodness with a little fascinating twist to his history. The ending is fast, but offers a glimpse into the soon-to-be future, which then only left me wanting more. This series does not have to be read in sequence to enjoy them, but once you start you’ll be looking for the rest.
