Blurb

Lucius Black lives a debauched and wild nightlife. Being a ‘Quarter’ (1/4 vampire), blood and sex are what he is. However, his existence wears thin after a century of hedonistic pleasure.

Trevina Patterson lives a quiet, happy life running a hair salon in a village on the east coast of the United Kingdom. It was a perfect life and all she could ask for, until a chance encounter with Lucius Black.

What was it about him that was so unsettling and yet so attractive?

For Lucius, no woman had ever been enough, until Trevina. She awakened in him feelings he had not thought possible. Passions considered by him to be little more than vampiric mythology. She awakened his...black lust.

Lorien's Review

Black Lust is an intriguing paranormal romance story filled with emotions and well-developed characters. Lucius Black is a Dhampire, a quarter vampire who enjoys his debauched playboy lifestyle. That is until he meets Trevina, a hairdresser who stirs up his lust for a change. While her beauty is plain, he finds an instant attraction toward her that he can’t deny. From their first encounter, you can sense their desire and inner conflict. We also get a glimpse of his Dhampyre cousin, Wolfram and Jessilynn’s relationship.

The characters definitely grabbed my attention and pulled me into their exciting world. There was plenty of emotional depth and erotic romance to sink your teeth into the characters and invest in their happy ending. Not to mention, the sex scenes were steamy and deliciously hot! The suspenseful plot and background of the family’s history added another layer to the story. A great read for fans of erotic and dark paranormal romance.

I am literally going to kill my mother.

To say I have mommy issues is putting it mildly. The woman who abandoned me has a lot of nerve to just saunter back into my life without warning and drop a bombshell of atomic proportions. I tried to kill her as way of resolving my inner Freudian issues, but my damned boyfriends stopped me. Spoilsports.

As if wanting to strangle my birth mother isn’t enough, once again, someone is messing with my life and a new player steps in to save me. Did I mention my dark knight is tall, gorgeous and fanged? Just don’t tell my lovers because apparently they’re not willing to share me with the undead.

The final showdown with the mysterious figure—also known as the major pain in my ass—fast approaches. I don’t care how powerful they are. They screwed up big time when they took something precious of mine. It’s never a good idea to piss off this Princess of Hell because revenge is my middle name.

Lorien's Review

In the last book of the Princess of Hell, Muriel faces one of her biggest challenge as the whole series wraps up. She reconnects with her Mother Earth who interrupts her nice family dinner with some surprising news and adds a third lover into the mix, which her succubus power relies on different magic beings. Not to mention the usual assassination attempts that came with her position.

But this time, there's a maternal war in hell against her own mother that threatens Muriel to take drastic measure of news with her pregnancy. Will she choose to keep her baby and destroy the world or risk her baby and save the world?

Hell’s Revenge is a terrific continuation of dark humor and nonstop action. I enjoyed the entire series and found the last book even more enthralling. This was another page-turner with strong characterization and catchy dialogue. The storyline had plenty of twists and turns that kept my mind rapt in the story. I loved the relationship and interaction between Muriel, Auric and David. The sex scenes were super-hot and incredibly fun to read.

The only thing I would have liked to see more is the connection with her new vampire lover, Teivel. Regardless, Eve Langlais did not disappoint to deliver an entertaining story. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading about a feisty heroine with a kickass attitude and an imaginary world-building plot. It’s well worth picking up a copy!

When it comes to her career, Josie Sharp sees things with perfect clarity, but her love life? Well, that’s completely out of focus. Coming off a rough breakup, she’s insecure and hesitant about men, especially ones as sexy as firefighter Marco Patelli. Although she may be wary of his intentions, she’d have to be a fool to pass up the chance to be with a man like him. And foolishness is not in her genes.

Josie is nothing like the women Marco normally goes for, but something about the shy photographer’s vulnerability calls to his dominant side. As he helps Josie explore her sexuality, Marco realizes there is so much more to Josie than meets the eye.

But when lies and insecurities collide, Marco is going to have to fight to prove to Josie that what they have goes so much deeper than sex.

Lorien's Review

Too Hot is an enjoyable book that captures my imagination. The characters are engaging and likeable. Right off the bat, I love the sexual tension and interaction between Josie and Marco. Their instant chemistry sizzles off the pages and the story flowed really well.

Josie is confident when it comes to her work, but after a rough breakup she’s self-conscious about her body. When an opportunity is presented, Josie gets to take photos for the firefighter fundraising calendar. But when the Mediterranean firefighter catches her attention, sparks fly between them. However, Josie struggles with her insecurities and has a hard time believing that he really finds her attractive.

Marco is one hot firefighter! He’s attracted to Josie and likes the way she is—curves and all, but hesitant to ask out the captain’s niece. There’s a misunderstanding, but he realizes that Josie’s vulnerability calls to his dominant side. To help her overcome her insecurities, he shows her what she can't deny.

The couple’s desire and conflict comes through each page with believable situations and dialogue as they work through it. Not to mention, there were some delicious moments and scorching hot sex scenes. Too Hot is a fun, exciting contemporary romance story that can’t be missed.

At the end of his obligated commitment to the Space Service, Frey Berger decides to stay on Earth to further experience human emotions rather than return to Ginnun where his intended has already mated with another. Looking for real love and someone to accept him for what he is, Frey enlists in Madame Evangeline’s popular dating service. Although he does not understand the concept of a one-night stand, he hopes to find his perfect mate. If he fails, he risks being alone on Earth for the rest of his life.

Carrie Cooper’s husband divorced her for another woman who could provide him with children, leaving her with little self-confidence and no desire to let a man hurt her again. Although several misunderstandings nearly derail them before the date even begins, Frey and Carrie end up closer than they ever believed possible. Still, Frey needs to convince Carrie her perfect mate isn’t human at all, and that one night can lead to a forever love.

Lorien's Review

Frey refuses to return to his planet in Ginnun. After his intended mate left him for his best friend, he wants to find an Earth woman and experience an emotional relationship where it’s not allowed on his planet. Carrie has been through so much after her divorce. With an open-mind and heart, she decides to take the chance on a one-night stand.

Celestial Seduction is a great sci-fi romance story. An enjoyable read that holds an interesting plot with two likeable characters. With the help of Madame Eve’s 1NightStand dating service, Frey and Carrie are able to have a second chance at love. When the two meet, sparks fly. An instant connection between the two ill-fated characters ignites and continues to grow. If you’re a fan of romance and science fiction, don’t miss out on this wonderful story.

But the cool, professional explosives expert fascinates him and he’s determined to protect her from harm. As the two of them track a group of terrorists from Florence to Rome and on to Paris, Lane and Bella learn that time doesn’t matter when passion demands a future filled with love.

Lorien's Review

In the third book of the Nemesis series, Until Twilight is an incredible thrilling ride. From the first page, the characters fascinated me and pulled me into the storyline. The sexual chemistry between Bella and Lane were evident and scorching hot. The story kept me on edge of my seat, which I thoroughly enjoyed the non-stop action and suspense. Apart from leading to a quick end, Desiree Holt and Cerise DeLand are a knockout team.

Bella is the sexy, smart Italian heroine with an instinct for defusing bombs. Lane is an American private operative assigned to work with a partner for the Nemesis, an International Security operative. Together, they are thrown into a dangerous venture of art thief and bomb threats. Every moment together puts their passion and job at high risk. Yet, they managed to work well together despite the dangerous situation in and out of the bedroom. A fast-paced and exciting read, you won’t want to miss out.

Etienne, sometimes known as Thanatos, wants to feel again. Anything—pain, pleasure, hunger, thirst. He lost all sensation after being tortured during the French Revolution. His quest has led to a love of body piercing and delivers him into the hands of lovely but aloof fellow Vampire Maria.

Maria avoids her kind, and represses the urge to drink the blood of her lovers. The first time she bit, she killed, and she’s terrified of making the same mistake again. Instead she finds satisfaction through piercing. Until Etienne lays down a challenge—make me feel.

He wants her to take him in every way, to mark his soul. And to do that, Maria must embrace every part of her vampire nature.

Reader Advisory: This lusty vamp couple has a taste for blood and sex, sometimes mixed together. Bloodplay, piercings and very hot sex found within!

Lorien's Review

After a deadly tragedy, Maria refrains from drinking the blood of her lovers. She’s been pretending to be human and ignoring her Vampire instinct through the satisfaction of piercing. That is until Etienne walks into her shop and changes her forever.

Tortured not to feel any sensation for over two hundred years, Etienne craves for more than anything to feel his lover’s touch. The only thing he finds peace is in his rock music as Thanatos. With his fascination for body piercing, he ends up getting tempted by the only woman who refuses her vampire nature.

Tasting Thanatos is a gripping, dark erotic paranormal romance. The couple’s desire and conflict comes through every page. The pair is well-matched and it makes the sex scenes so incredible and raw. While I found myself wishing the ending was longer, I thoroughly enjoyed the plot and characters. If you’re looking for a different kind of vampire story filled with anguish and emotion, I recommend that you pick this book up right away.

Book two in the Big City Pack series.

As a cocktail waitress at Fallsview Casino Resort, Jorja has been witness to some brow-raising moments. But she’s never been part of one until a hot-as hell patron in her section pulls her into his lap and kisses her senseless. Talk about a generous tipper. Lady luck has smiled on her indeed.

What was supposed to be a weekend of harmless gambling takes a dramatic turn when Kian’s wolf scents his would-be mate. Consuming her lips as if his life depends on it in the middle of a crowded casino is bad enough—but giving in to his mating urge and claiming her before she knows his true nature is nothing short of a disaster. And when a fellow pack member shows up and lets the wolf out of the bag, Kian is forced to admit not only who and what he is, but what he did. He may need more than luck to pull this one off.

Lorien's Review

When his wolf scents the cocktail waitress at Fallsview Casino Resort, Kian knew he found his would-be mate. After a night with Jorja, he needs to come clean about his mating bond if he wants to keep her.

Jorja never thought she could stand a chance with the dark-haired hunk at one of her serving tables. That is until her world is turn upside down after experiencing separation anxiety from Kian and finding out that werewolves exist. What’s a girl to do when she’s face with a choice between doing what she needs to and what she wants to?

A Werewolf at the Falls is a satisfying read. The sexual interaction was steamy and plentiful. The paranormal element added a spice to the story. While the ending felt a little rush when Kian was forced to confess the truth, the chemistry between the characters were enough to interest me. In addition, the secondary character Soren made a great appearance to the story.

Galen Hall wakes in a Ecuadorian jail with a murderous headache, a murder charge, and a memory gap where his alibi should be. How does the jungle guide prove his innocence? His best friend comes to help, only to bring with him the woman whose unplanned love sent him fleeing the Amazon to begin with.

One night of steamy jungle passion has botanist Dana Rutherford carrying a stranger’s baby. While coming to terms with raising a child on her own, she learns of the father’s captivity. In a town where corruption reigns, she unknowingly initiates a jailbreak, and finds herself again face-to-face with the hunky, green-eyed devil who has changed her life forever.

Lorien's Review

Galen Hall wakes up in an Ecuadorian prison and is being accused of murder. He doesn’t remember much leading to his current predicament except for the night with the twenty-eight year old virgin, Dana Rutherford.

Dana is pregnant with Galen’s baby and fears the damage to her reputation. Despite the fact that Galen wants nothing to do with her, she shows up anyway to help him bail out of jail and prove his innocence.

The story is fairly simple and predictable, but interesting enough to read. The couple’s emotional conflict pretty much establishes the pace. I was looking forward to a lot of adventure, action, and romance. I did enjoy the romantic suspense part, but had a hard time believing the romance between both main characters. If you’re looking for a sweet story with great effort, give this book a try.
