Blurb

When it comes to her career, Josie Sharp sees things with perfect clarity, but her love life? Well, that’s completely out of focus. Coming off a rough breakup, she’s insecure and hesitant about men, especially ones as sexy as firefighter Marco Patelli. Although she may be wary of his intentions, she’d have to be a fool to pass up the chance to be with a man like him. And foolishness is not in her genes.

Josie is nothing like the women Marco normally goes for, but something about the shy photographer’s vulnerability calls to his dominant side. As he helps Josie explore her sexuality, Marco realizes there is so much more to Josie than meets the eye.

But when lies and insecurities collide, Marco is going to have to fight to prove to Josie that what they have goes so much deeper than sex.

Lorien's Review

Too Hot is an enjoyable book that captures my imagination. The characters are engaging and likeable. Right off the bat, I love the sexual tension and interaction between Josie and Marco. Their instant chemistry sizzles off the pages and the story flowed really well.

Josie is confident when it comes to her work, but after a rough breakup she’s self-conscious about her body. When an opportunity is presented, Josie gets to take photos for the firefighter fundraising calendar. But when the Mediterranean firefighter catches her attention, sparks fly between them. However, Josie struggles with her insecurities and has a hard time believing that he really finds her attractive.

Marco is one hot firefighter! He’s attracted to Josie and likes the way she is—curves and all, but hesitant to ask out the captain’s niece. There’s a misunderstanding, but he realizes that Josie’s vulnerability calls to his dominant side. To help her overcome her insecurities, he shows her what she can't deny.

The couple’s desire and conflict comes through each page with believable situations and dialogue as they work through it. Not to mention, there were some delicious moments and scorching hot sex scenes. Too Hot is a fun, exciting contemporary romance story that can’t be missed.
