Serena Dammler is recovering from a savage beating and needs protection. Cowboys and lovers Marc Weller and Tony Estabon are taking jobs as bounty-hunters, and their newest assignment is to capture her attacker and return him to Texas. They take one look at Serena’s fragile beauty and decide she’d be the perfect third to their family.

Serena’s always dreamed of catching herself a rich man, and she’d do just about anything to make that dream come true. She’s not going to allow herself to fall in love with her two cowboy protectors, no matter how sexy they are.

Marc and Tony want Serena as their third, but they want her love to be real and not based on their bank accounts. So what will it hurt if they take her to a little cabin on their ranch and pretend to be simple cowboys?

Monica's Review

She thinks she knows what she wants but soon will realize that money is not everything in a relationship. Love is formed when there is trust in a relationship and they feel safe, protected like there are the center of the universe but there is only one problem, this relationship starts with lies. The only way to really make this right is to say the truth and see if the person is willing to forgive and see if they are truly in love.

Serena is a beautiful young woman that is naïve because she believes that the only way she can be able to leave her home town and be happy is to find a man that is rich and he can take her away and live happily ever after. Well money is not everything and soon she will find out. She makes a dumb phone call that will almost cost her her life but soon will be on the road with two handsome cowboys that will show her the time of her life. They do let her know from the beginning that they are in a committed relationship between themselves but do not let her know until later that they are actually bi-sexual. She starts to have some feelings for them but tries not to fall in love with them because she knows it will leave her broken hearted. She sees herself as damaged goods and tries her best to hide her past from them. They have a couple of scenes that have them having a great time together where they are trying their best to woo her and they are successful but they need to be truthful about their intentions with her. After some time has past she sees herself living in the small 2 bedroom cabin with her handsome cowboys and forming a life even if they claim they are not filthy rich. She wants to get a job and get them satellite TV, isn’t that sweet of her. Soon things will come crashing down on her after a confrontation between two ranch hands that will leave her devastated. Will she be able to recover and be able to forgive them?

Marc and Tony are two sexy Ex-DEA agents but they have one fault that I hated from the beginning, they are liars. They have made Serena believe that she is still in danger from a mad man. They also make her believe that they are something they are not and this will be something that is unbelievable but at the same time they will know if she is truly in love with them and not because they are filthy rich. Marc is so attracted to Serena that he makes the first move on her in her hometown and takes it upon himself to take her to their ranch in Texas. Sure Tony also has a connection with her but I thought Marc was more in tune with her. They do their best to seduce her but they feel like Serena is not really into them but believe me they show her a real good time. They make passionate love to her and let me tell you that it is steamy and dam good. The only problem that I did have is that I am really not into reading about m/m but you know what everybody has a right to love, but you know what I survived. The one thing that I did admire is that no matter what, Serena was the center of their universe when they were together in bed. Marc and Tony show her that they can protect her and make her feel safe but they cannot protect at all times and they are devastated. Will they be able to find her when she learns the truth about them and who they truly are or will she stay hidden?

Overall, I loved the book, there was so much that Serena will learn about life and who she truly is with the help of Marc and Tony. There was one more point: don’t believe everything that is said about a person until you fully understand the real version of their life, don’t believe all the rumors on a person. I could not believe the ending of this book but love conquers all. I highly recommend his book to anyone that just wants to read a good romantic book with amazing passionate lovemaking.
