Blurb

Ash Peterson falls for her the moment he lays eyes on her. She’s a stereotypical city girl, from her manicure to her high heels. Judging by the sparks that fly between them, he knows there’s a fire burning deep inside the blue-eyed beauty. But department store manager Juliana Meyers is thrown by her attraction to Ash. Everything about this quintessential cowboy sets her on edge, from his Stetson and mutton chop sideburns down to his dusty boots and spurs. All he’s gotta do is walk into a room with those damn things jingling and she’s putty in his hands.

When Ash unintentionally injures Juliana, he feels that it’s his responsibility to look after the hoity-toity redheaded workaholic. He pushes her to reexamine her perfectionist lifestyle, but it’s hard for Juliana because she’s used to doing things her way. Can she learn to relax and let him lead?

Monica's Review

Divine Creek Ranch is in flames once again with a sexy cowboy, Ash Peterson and a hellacious young lady, Juliana Meyers.

Seems like not very long ago I was reading how Grace found her three sexy husbands and how a couple of their friends found their true love within Divine. Now we have two new prospects that have set eyes on each other during a Christmas party. Let the sparks, romance, and some interesting cursing begin.

Wow, Juliana knows how to make a first impression of herself after a sexy cowboy makes her just a little angry. You could just say that she has a way with words. After her boyfriend breaks up with her on Christmas Day, can you actually believe that breaking up with her over the phone on a holiday as Juliana said at least it was not in a text message. Juliana is a major workaholic and is very much invested in her job but there are times that she needs to relax a little and enjoy life and have a little fun. It was surprising that once she was able to somewhat trust in Ash she started having a little fun and actually sounded happy. After she truly trusted Ash there was a major hiccup and she tumbled down and went into seclusion. Running away does not help the situation, it just makes it worse, but she was trying to explain herself.

Sexy cowboy Ash is one hell of a man, but his mouth can get him into some trouble with a red headed woman. He is such a sweetheart that no matter what he does or does not do, his actions or his mouth get him into some major trouble from beginning to end. Juliana describes him the best and that is comparing him to a marshmallow, nice and soft. Ash is a loyal man that puts out his feeling out first and lets her know that his three words should not be repeated back to him until she is ready. It is surprising to see how he treats her and has so much compassion for her; he truly adores her and will do anything that she may ask or requests.

Once again Ms. Rainier did an amazing job with her fifth series of Divine Creek Ranch. This has hot steamy romance, humor and joy as Ash and Juliana enter into their lives together hoping that they truly can have a happily ever after and more. You will not regret reading this book come along for the tears of joy that you will experience with the ending in this amazing story.
