Review: Angels Would Fall by J.S. Wayne

Angels Would Fall by J.S. Wayne

Publisher: Noble Romance
Genre: Paranormal Romance

Heat Rating: 3

Take one more, ferry her along. Soulbearer Moradiel recounts his duties while collecting his latest assignment, nurse Ariel. Tragic accident--seems simple. But in the RN's final moments asleep at the wheel of her speeding car, stirrings grip Moradiel's angelic heart. Stirrings so forbidden that to simply give voice to them is to risk expulsion from his Heavenly abode.

Out of time and faced with the most difficult decision in his eternal existence, Moradiel finds himself torn between saving the only woman he's ever loved or throwing the balance between Heaven and Hell into chaos. Duty or desire? Moradiel must choose . . .

Lorien's Review

Soulbearer Moradiel’s duty is to escort souls on its way to Heaven. During his latest assignment, Moradiel finds himself drawn to a mortal nurse Ariel. None has awakened his heart and soul until now.

Angels Would Fall is a fast-paced read, but it packs a lot of action and romantic element in a small format. I love the instant chemistry between Moradiel and Ariel. The story captures each scene in an incredible manner and I couldn’t get enough of it. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick, sizzling summer read. You won’t be disappointed.
