To come home to all lights on with the door open and think that maybe your soon to be ex-husband had been in there. That was what Nadia thought when she came home from work. That just did not make sense sure you might think that your ex might come while you are not there to gather his belongings but why. Finn did not seem like a man that would do that to Nadia but then again he had not been truthful to his wife about his career. But also Nadia had not been truthful to her husband about her darkest secrets, either.

It became apparent how they felt about each other but something was keeping them apart. Nadia is a passionate woman as Finn a passionate man and when he was caressing her in the restaurant; it was exotic especially when you have a man’s hand under your dress in a public place. When danger finds Nadia, Finn is there to protect her but for how long.

Finn broke one rule that is sacred to a woman and that is her journal of her personal thoughts and desires. When Finn takes Nadia away he actually acts on her darkest desires and actually spanks her but Nadia truly believed she deserved it. Everything that she dreamed of and lusted over finally was coming true and she was falling in love with her husband all over again. There were only two problems they had to remember that they were being hunted by someone and don’t leave the journal of your wife where she can find it.

Overall the book was short and quick it could have had more of their rejoining but over all more of mystery of who they were running away from. It was still a very good read and very erotic because Nadia was truly a submissive ready to finally let Finn take over the relationship and not defy him ever again.

Wendy's Review

Even though I usually don't read this type of book I found that H.C. Brown takes you into another realm of life. The imagination that he uses in writing this book kept me on the edge of my seat.

I liked how he wrote the story around one man and brought him together with his mate and the man who could bring him fulfillment.

Lydia wanted Hawke but was too afraid to show her true self but when she was with him she couldn't understand the lust she had for Nox. Nox accepted that he loved Hawke but knew that to have him he had to accept Lydia.

Bringing in adventure, lust and animal instincts has you wanting more.

If you enjoy animal magnetism and adventure then this book is a good read.

Wendy's Review

This book is definitely not for the faint of heart. It is tremendously detailed and with that comes issues that have you dealing with your own insecurities.

The setting is dark and Bianca puts your mindset in that place with such descriptions that in your minds eye you can actually picture it. This story contains so many different characters that the main two are struggling to stay sane and alive until they can escape.

Lydia and Joe are stuck in a room. He is the man who rapes her but instead of staying repulsed by him she clings to him for the security that she has lost. Through the book Joe seems to know what is being expected and protects Lydia as much as he can. But the extreme circumstances of their life has them on the verge of craziness and insecure of their future. Through the pain of all they went through they knew in the end they would be in their dungeon reliving the love that was developing between them.

Through all the scenes there was extreme disbelief and some unbearable for this reader but I forged on because Bianca caught my attention and kept it. It was like when you want to stop eating chips but you have to have one more, that is how this book is after you read one page you have to read more. The extreme sexual situations are worth it in the end.

I give this book 4 Tea Cups and a 4 heat index since it is extreme.

Angels Would Fall is a fast-paced read, but it packs a lot of action and romantic element in a small format. I love the instant chemistry between Moradiel and Ariel. The story captures each scene in an incredible manner and I couldn’t get enough of it. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick, sizzling summer read. You won’t be disappointed.

Bite with Height had me intrigued as soon as I picked up the fabulous cover.; the way the two girls are embracing, the trickle of blood and the eerie looking Sacre-Coeur. I am pleased to say I was not disappointed with the content.

The writing was seamless, the plot moved swiftly, this is after all a short story, and the characters were instantly likeable, and as a reader dropped into the seedy underworld of Paris and vampires any questions I had were quickly answered making for a satisfying story.

Grace, the human, was suitably apprehensive of Meg and her fangs but they soon got steamy. I would love to see what the author could do with these two characters in a longer novel. The thought sends a shiver of excited apprehension up my spine.

Verdict:

Bite with Height is perfect for a sultry quick escape to Paris. I really felt I’d been there wandering the streets and exploring the eves of Sacre-Coeur. So if you have a twenty minute window and fancy some sexy vampire lesbian action I urge you to pick this one up.

I will admit: I chose this book because the summary reminded me of one of my favorite guilty pleasure books: Jaid Black’s Possession. The premise of both stories is a sexual getaway hosted on a luxury island. While the premise is a little hokey, it’s likewise injected with just enough hot, smoking fantasy to keep the reader entertained and enthralled.

Ms. Aaron gives us Cassie, the reluctant guest of Pleasure Island, and Ryan, the reluctant owner. Ryan receives correspondence from Cassie’s friend, Sophie, forewarning that Cassie won’t know where she’s going until it’s too late. Through a series of encounters, Cassie begins to unwind, and Ryan begins thinking he might want to play for keeps.

While I enjoyed PLEASURE ISLAND as a bit of brain candy, a few things continually pulled me out of the story. Ryan’s interest in Cassie seemed to come from nowhere, except she was a guest who didn’t really want to be there in the first place. Beyond her resistance to the island, the “she’s different from the other women” quality felt forced. I could understand a basic physical attraction, but for a man surrounded by women on a daily basis, I needed a little more to buy Cassie was something other than a temporary fixation. The author likewise told readers what the characters were feeling more often than those sensations were showed, and the conflict between Cassie and Ryan could have been cleared up quickly if they’d behaved like adults.

These are things liable to pull me out of a story, but that doesn’t necessarily make it a bad read. Conversely, for what it is, PLEASURE ISLAND offers a great, sexy bit of escapism. Ms. Aaron is a promising author, and I very much look forward to whatever she has next in store for readers.

He explains that his students created art with them. Gretchen is reminded of her childhood memories of summertime and her favorite Popsicle – the bomb pop with its patriotic colors of red, white and blue. Gretchen immediately starts to fantasize about what she would like to do with Thom’s ‘popsicle stick’.

What Gretchen doesn’t know is that Thom has a crush on her as well. When she is invited to Thom’s birthday party, she doesn’t know what to give him as a gift. As a ballsy attempt to show her interest, she gives him a coupon book for him to redeem for some erotic fantasies. Will her gift shock him or taunt him into acting out some of her erotic delicious fantasies?

Ms. O’Riordan’s ability to use food as the basis of an erotic story makes for a sensational story.

Ren's Review

**This is a sequel to Out of the Closet. I would suggest you read it first to get an idea of what is going on. It’s a wonderful story, trust me**


Chaz and Mike are working on their relationship. When Chaz finds out that he has inherited some property in Iowa, he heads out there with Mike and TCT in tow. Not only does he face a heft property tax if he doesn’t abide by the rules set by his deceased uncle but he also has some demons that he has to deal with.

What I liked about this was that the story focused more on Chaz and Mike’s relationship outside the bedroom, their interaction as they try to figure out how to make a go of the farm and everything else in between.

Chaz tries to figure out why he can’t remember certain things from his childhood. He struggles to put things in context, maybe he had imagined them, maybe it wasn’t what he thought it was. There were times when I really thought the story would go in a different direction and I am so glad that it didn’t.

Mike and Chaz are funny and completely relatable. I do hope that this isn’t the end for these two. I feel that there is more to be written about them. It’s hilarious, heartwarming with just enough suspense to keep the reader interested.

A well-written story for those who enjoy M/M romance.

I really don’t know what to say about this book except…wow.

First of all, as I should have known going in, this is the second installment in what is now a three-book series, and I am already stalking Amazon for the Kindle release. I also haven’t read the first one, but I very much intend to rectify that situation ASAP. Because I didn’t get to see Jessie and her vamp hook-up, I feel my perspective is a little skewed. Even still…wow.

I am typically not a love-triangle kind of girl, but I have been forced to eat my words from time to time. This is one of them. The battle for Jessie between Jeremy and Drake is intense, hot, and reminds me of those days I spent rooting for Spike over Angel on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. However, beyond the steamy demons and the killer sex scenes is witty characterization, incredibly likable characters, and a plot that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

This is more than a romance—this is a fast-paced paranormal thriller with the added benefit of steamy sex and romance thrown in the mix. It’s the perfect combination, and a wicked thrill of a literary ride.
