Spirals is a futuristic ménage romance, written in a first person POV. Don’t underestimate this book, or its author, Beth D. Carter. You are not only treated to a scorching hot read, but an in depth story that you won’t soon forget. I was totally engrossed in this novel and couldn’t stop reading until the end.

Kaori has been living all alone for years, in the rundown remnants of LA. She’s learned to be self sufficient, an excellent survivor created out of necessity. It’s touching to read about this young woman’s story. She develops into a woman with no experience besides the sex toys she’s found on her journey. Kaori was such a likable character, and I’ll remember her fondly for a long time to come.

Tobias and Orion are two very different men, but both come to love Kaori as deeply as each is capable. Kaori first thinks they are some of the dangerous men that lurk in the night, but quickly finds out they have arrived to help her. New feelings blossom within her for the two men, and she fantasizes about an encounter with both.

As the exciting plot progresses, the romance also thickens. I loved how close Tobias and Orion were as friends. This was a tasteful ménage with no discomfort or jealousy between anyone.

Spirals has made me a Beth D. Carter fan! If you enjoy a well fleshed out story that will take you away while you read it, with an erotic edge, definitely give Spirals a try.

Though the cover of Jessica’s Guide to Dating on the Dark Side is beautiful and eye catching, the title made me leery. I expected a shallow teen read, but I couldn’t have been more wrong.

As an adult lover of young adult romance, I was eager to read this book. It was written in a first person POV, common for young adult reads. Our heroine, Jessica, was easy to fall in love with; funny, witty, and sometimes stubborn.

When Lucius comes into her life, as her parents’ border, she is quick to reject his advances. He insists they are destined for each other, and must be married as soon as possible. Apparently, she has vampiric bloodlines, which her adoptive parents confirm. She’s not ready for such commitments and revelations, only being in highschool. Though she’s very attracted to Lucius, she denies her growing feelings for him, and tries to ignore everything she’s learned.

When another love interest enters the picture, Jessica feels the pangs of jealousy. But it appears she may be a little too late, because Lucius seems to have moved on to better things when she finally accepts her feelings for him. This book appears a light hearted read, which it is, but it also has a lot of depth that pleasantly surprised me.

Jessica’s Guide to Dating on the Dark Side was a page-turning young adult paranormal romance. I thoroughly enjoyed it. From the humorous and engaging narration, to the sweet romance, this book is a must read for YA lovers!

Loved, loved, loved this book! Did I say I loved this book? I’m in awe of Keta Diablo’s gifted writing ability. She paints such vivid pictures with her words, and takes us into a beautiful romance with no lulls or heavy backstory. The 19th century time period was given justice in Decadent Deceptions and whisked me away to another world with the imagery, setting, and brilliant dialogue between characters.

Olivia has loved Morgan as long as she can remember, but refuses to admit it. She’s hot headed and stubborn…and a character I adored. In fact, I fell in love with the entire cast of characters, that became so real as I read. From Olivia’s brother, and sister-in-law, to the irresistible Morgan, each character brought a unique spice to the story.

Morgan, the brooding, distant love interest was more than delectable! He was a mixture of raw sensuality, and erotic domination. You can’t help but fall in love with him. The sexual tension, and sex itself was hot! We get a full sampling in this tasteful erotic tale.

Decadent Deceptions is a historical romance that follows Olivia’s journey to capture the attention of Morgan. Her path leads her into a brothel in attempts to arouse jealousy, and eventually into the sights of a psychopath killer.

By the end of this book, I was teary eyed from the romance that grew and blossomed throughout the book. The mystery woven within the pages adds the perfect amount of tension.

If you love historical romance, or wanted to start with a great one…run and buy Keta Diablo’s Decadent Deceptions. You won’t be disappointed. I will be thinking about this book for a long time to come, and look forward to more work by this exceptional author.

This book was written in a first person POV, which can sometimes be annoying, but not in this novel. Janice is a great heroine. She’s had it with her life, and doesn’t expect things can get much worse. Her best friend has forgotten she exists after moving in with her new boyfriend. When she meets Jake, she’s blown away. It’s so easy to ignore any feelings of right and wrong when he looks so edible. But before she can do anything she regrets, he leaves her in the heat of the moment, with a promise to meet with her again.

What starts as a hot love affair, turns into a lifetime connection, when Jake accidentally turns Janice into a vampire. At first she’s shocked and pissed, but after noticing the great physical changes in her appearance, she’s more accepting.

Jake turns out to be a great friend and helps her on her journey as a new vampire. It’s the vampire killer, Hunter, who touches her heart in a way she can’t deny. Though she knows Hunter is dangerous and would destroy her life in a second if he knew her true identity, she can’t stay away from him.

The sex Is hot, and the love story sweet and fulfilling. This paranormal romance wasn’t just another cookie cutter vampire romance. Dead Girl Talking held my interest to the end. Our heroine, with her accepting, humorous nature made this book a winner.

I really enjoyed this trip back into time. Kestra Gravier did an excellent job writing this historical, erotic romance. It was titillating, while remaining tasteful.

Lady Elinor is innocent, but keeps an open mind, when it comes to sexual situations. Her initial attraction to Lord Wysse continues to grow throughout the book as he introduces her to his kinky BDSM fetish.

When Lady Elinor goes on a secret mission for her lover, she walks into a perverse world of public fornication. She doesn’t resist an F/F/F counter, but in fact, enjoys it.

Lady Elinor at Hampton Court held my interest so intently, that I finished in it one sitting. The touch of history in setting, and dialogue felt true to the time. This was a hot, sexy read that ended with a HEA.

For a quick read, by a very talented new author, try Lady Elinor at Hampton Court. This erotic historical with BDSM elements is one to I’ll remember. Kestra Gravier…more please!

Eve Langlais is great at characterization. Diana calls herself a ‘plumper’ and figures a worthwhile man will never desire her. Her last boyfriend had a fetish for chubby girls and wouldn’t be seen with her in public. The entire experience tore down her confidence.

When a hot and buff alien man appears in her livingroom, insisting he wanted her for a life mate, she thinks she is dreaming. He transports them to his spacecraft and they begin the long journey to his home planet. Diana fights her abduction, but also knows she has nothing to leave behind on Earth.

Diana is hilarious! I could read about her thoughts all day and enjoy every minute of it. It was the humor and the characters that made this book stand out for me. Well, the sexy blue alien on the cover helped.

The relationship developed slowly, as Diana was cautious with Kor. Once things started rolling, there were plenty of spicy sex scenes. You can’t help but love Kor. He’s controlled, logical and eager to please his mate. Though he wishes his new woman was a little more cooperative, he soon learns what love is.

Once they arrive on Kor’s planet, the pace of the story slowed somewhat, but picked up again in the last quarter.

For a funny, touching, romance with a stud of an alien and a reluctant heroine, this is the book for you. I highly recommend Alien Mate, and can’t wait for more work by this talented author.

This novella flips back and forth from the past and present, but not in a confusing way. It’s to allow the reader to understand the love and history between Liam and Christiana.
Liam is a warrior; strong, muscled and proud. With Christiana, he’s all tender and loving. Who doesn’t love a hunk in a kilt?

After a near death accident, Liam helps Christiana back to health, which draws them closer to each other. He has old fashioned values, and respects our heroine, despite his ruthless reputation. You have to love the feisty Christina, that isn’t intimidated by the hulking warrior.
For a short story, this book packed a lot of punch in character development! I enjoyed Em Epe’s writing style which flowed smoothly.

The direction the author took the book near the end, didn’t sit well with me, but we did get a HEA none the less.

For a quick, satisfying read, Her McRaidy Chieftain was a good, historical romance.
