Blurb

Julietta LaSalle begrudgingly lets her almost-ex badger her into a weekend getaway at an exclusive Bahamas resort. Sexy personal trainer Collier Blair books a romantic package at the same resort, hoping to determine once and for all whether a future exists for him and his on-again, off-again date mate.

Thanks to a hotel room foul-up, Collier and Julietta wind up having the sex of their lives—in each other’s arms. Neither realizes the shocking sex-with-a-stranger “mix up” was no accident. Supernatural strings are pulled behind the scenes by the gods Love and Lust. In the immortals’ contest to prove whose powers are greater, how will Julietta and Collier come to terms with their budding feelings—and the relationship fallout from their “accidental” passion?

Lorien's Review

Hoping to give their marriage one last try, Julietta LaSalle agrees to a romantic getaway to the Bahamas with her soon to be ex-husband Craig. But when the hotel rooms got mixed-up, Julietta ends up having the best sex of her life with a sexy stranger.

Collier is a charming bad boy. The hard-to-resist hunk is a personal trainer built for pleasure. Both the awkwardness of the situation and sense of humor behind the plot was a lot of fun to read. J. Rose Allister did a fantastic job with the dialogue and the romance development between the characters.

Although the scenes with god of Love and Lust threw me off at first, the storyline adds an entertaining twists and turns. The characters were amusing and the world-building progress was well-written. I was rooting for Julietta and Collier all the way. This was a great read and I recommend it to anyone looking for erotic romance with a playful fantasy.
